Langhorne, Leave for a Bill.
Upon reading the Petition of Sir William Langhorne Baronet, Patron of the Parish Church, or Rectory, of Charlton, in Kent, and Robert Warren, the present Incumbent; praying Leave to bring in a Bill, for making effectual a proposed Exchange of the Parsonage-house, in the said Parish of Charlton, and a Close there, belonging to the said Rectory, for a House and Land more commodious for the said Incumbent and his Successors, and much nearer the said Church, and of much greater Value; the Bishop of the Diocese consenting thereunto:
It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Leave be given to bring in a Bill, according to the Prayer of the said Petition.
Harvey's Petition referred to Judges.
Upon reading the Petition of William Harvey the Elder, of Chigwell, in the County of Essex, Esquire, and William Harvey the Younger, Esquire, his Son; praying Leave to bring in a Bill, to enable them to settle a Jointure, and grant a Lease; and for vesting the Inheritance of a Trust Estate, for the Purposes in the Petition mentioned:
It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Consideration of the said Petition shall be, and is hereby, referred to the Lord Chief Justice of the Court of Queen's Bench and the Lord Chief Baron of the Court of Exchequer; who are forthwith to summon all Parties concerned in the Bill; and, after hearing them, to report to the House the State of the Case, with their Opinion thereupon, under their Hands, and whether all Parties that may be concerned in the Consequences of the Bill have signed the Petition; and also that the Judges, having perused the Bill, do sign the same.
Adjourn.
