E. Northampton takes the Oaths.

This Day George Earl of Northampton took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, and also took and subscribed the Oath of Abjuration, pursuant to the Statutes; his Lordship having first delivered a Certificate of his receiving the Sacrament, and Witnesses sworn and examined to the Truth thereof.

Pynsent's Bill, Amendments agreed to:

The House (according to Order) resumed the adjourned Consideration of the Amendments made by the Commons to the Bill, intituled, "An Act for confirming of a Partition made between William Pynsent Esquire and Mary his Wife, John Trevillian Esquire and Elizabeth his Wife, and their Trustees, of several Manors and Lands, in the County of Somerset."

And the Amendment, which recites the Deed ordered Yesterday to be laid before this House, was read; as was also Part of the said Deed.

Which Amendment was agreed to by the House; and the other Amendments were also severally read, and agreed to.

Message to H. C. to acquaint them with it.

Then, a Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Mr. Orlebar and Mr. Browning:

To acquaint them, that the Lords have agreed to their Amendments made to the said Bill.

Sir W. Douglas's Bill.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the Relief of Sir William Douglas, Lieutenant General of Her Majesty's Forces."

Ordered, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House, presently.

Then the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee thereupon.

And, after some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.

And the Lord Blantyre reported from the Committee, "That they had gone through the said Bill; and directed him to report the same to the House, without any Amendment."

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the Relief of Sir William Douglas, Lieutenant General of Her Majesty's Forces."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. that the Lords have agreed to it

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Mr. Orlebar and Mr. Browning:

To acquaint them, that the Lords have agreed to the said Bill, without any Amendment.

Partis versus Eglesham, in Error.

The House being moved, "That a Day may be appointed, for hearing the Errors argued upon a Writ of Error depending in this House, wherein Francis Partis is Plaintiff, and John Egelsham Defendant:"

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the Errors argued in this Case, on Thursday next, at Twelve a Clock.

Adjourn.
