PRAYERS.

Account of Cruizers and Convoys.

The House being informed, "That a Person from the Admiralty Office attended;" he was called in, and delivered, at the Bar, "An Account of the Ships which have been employed as Cruizers and Convoys in the Year 1711, over and above the Ships of War for the Line of Battle, and for Convoys to remote Parts; prepared in Pursuance of an Act of Parliament, intituled, An Act for the better securing the Trade of this Kingdom, by Cruizers and Convoys."

And the Title thereof being read:

Ordered, That the said Account do lie on the Table, to be perused by the Lords.

Preserving Protestant Religion, Bill:

Hodie 3^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for preserving the Protestant Religion, by better securing the Church of England as by Law established; and for confirming and supplying the Defects of the Toleration granted to Protestant Dissenters by an Act, intituled, An Act for exempting Their Majesties Protestant Subjects dissenting from the Church of England, from the Penalties of certain Laws; and for the further securing the Protestant Succession, by requiring the Practisers of the Law in North Britain to take the Oaths, and subscribe the Declaration, therein mentioned."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Mr. Justice Powell and Mr. Baron Lovell:

To carry down the said Bill, and desire their Concurrence thereunto.

Forbes versus Forbes.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of William Forbes, of Tolquhon, Esquire, from a Decree of the Lords of Council and Session in North Britain, pronounced the Second of January 1710 / 11;, and the Affirmance thereof the First of February following, on the Behalf of Alexand'r Forbes, of Ballogie; praying to be relieved against the said Decree; and "that the said Alexander Forbes may answer the said Appeal:"

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Alexand'r Forbes may have a Copy of the said Appeal; and shall and he is hereby required to put in his Answer thereunto, in Writing, on or before Tuesday the Nine and Twentieth Day of January next, at Eleven a Clock.

Account of prohibited E. India Goods and Naval Stores, &c.

The House being informed, "That some of the Commissioners of the Customs attended:"

They were called in; and delivered, at the Bar, pursuant to late Acts of Parliament, several Papers.

The Titles whereof were read, as follows:

"1. An Account of the prohibited East India Goods, at the Warehouse at St. Hellen's; with what has been brought into the said Warehouse, what exported, and what remains, from 29 September 1710, to 25 March 1711.

"2. An Account of the prohibited East India Goods, at the Warehouse at Leaden Hall; with what has been brought into the said Warehouse, what exported, and what remains, from 29 September 1710, to 25 March 1711.

"3. An Account of the prohibited East India Goods, brought into Her Majesty's Warehouse at the Customhouse, London; with what has been exported, and what remains, from Michaelmas 1710, to Lady Day 1711.

"4. An Account of the prohibited East India Goods, at the Warehouse at St. Hellen's; with what has been brought into the said Warehouse, what exported, and what remains, from 25 March 1711, to 29 Sept. 1711.

"5. An Account of the prohibited East India Goods, at the Warehouse at Leaden Hall; with what has been brought into the said Warehouse, what exported, and what remains, from 25 March 1711, to 29 Sept. 1711.

"6. An Account of the prohibited East India Goods, brought into Her Majesty's Warehouse at the Customhouse, London; with what has been exported, and what remains, from Lady Day 1711, to Mich'mas 1711.

"7. An Account of Naval Stores imported from Russia into the Port of London, from Mich'mas 1710, to Mich'mas 1711.

"8. An Account of Naval Stores imported from Russia into the Out Ports, from Mich'mas 1710, to Mich'mas 1711."

Ordered, That the said Papers do lie on the Table, to be perused by the Lords.

D. of Hamilton to be heard by Counsel, concerning his Patent as D. of Brandon:

The House being this Day moved, "That his Grace the Duke of Hamilton may be heard, by his Counsel, on Thursday next, in relation to the Patent for creating him Duke of Brandon:"

Judges to attend.

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Duke of Hamilton shall be heard, by his Counsel, as desired, on Thursday next, at Twelve a Clock, before this House takes into Consideration the said Patent.

Ordered, That all the Judges do attend this House on Thursday next, at Twelve a Clock.
