PRAYERS.

Paul versus Shaw, in Error.

Whereas Friday next is appointed for hearing the Errors argued, upon the Writ of Error depending in this House, wherein William Paul and Christopher Clitheroe Esquires are Plaintiffs, and Sir John Shaw Baronet is Defendant:

It is therefore Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That all the Judges do attend this House on that Day.

Ordered, That all the Lords be summoned to attend the House To-morrow.

Nugent versus Reily.

Upon reading the Petition of Robert Nugent and Michael Nugent Esquires; shewing, "That the Petitioners exhibited their Appeal into this House, the last Session of the last Parliament, from a Decree made in Favour of Charles Reily, John Reily, and Edmond Reily, by the Court of Exchequer in Ireland; and obtained an Order for the Respondents to answer to the said Appeal by a certain Day within the last Sessions; that the Respondents, though duly served with the said Order, did not comply therewith; but, in Contempt, are now proceeding to an Execution of the said Decree, on Pretence that the said Appeal is determined by the Dissolution of the last Parliament; and praying, that the Respondents do put in their Answer by a short Day; and that all Proceeding on the said Decree may be stayed until the Hearing of the Appeal:"

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Charles Reily, John Reily, and Edm'd Reily, shall and they are hereby required, peremptorily, to put in their Answer to the said Appeal, in Writing, on or before Tuesday, the Thirteenth Day of February next, at Eleven a Clock.

Adjourn.
