E. Plymouth's Pet. referred to Judges.

Upon reading the Petition of the Right Honourable Other Earl of Plimouth, Elizabeth Countess of Plimouth, and Elizabeth Whitley Widow; praying Leave to bring in a Bill, that the Manor of Wadborough, alias Wadberrow, in the County of Worcester, and other Lands there, which came to the Petitioner the Earl of Plymouth by his Mother, and excepted in an Act of Parliament made in the Seventh Year of Her Majesty's Reign, may be vested in Trustees to be sold, for raising Money, to pay off Debts charged upon the Paternal Estate of the Petitioner, and for other Purposes to be in the Bill mentioned:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Consideration of the said Petition shall be, and is hereby, referred to the Lord Chief Baron of Her Majesty's Court of Exchequer and Mr. Justice Powys; who are forthwith to summon all Parties concerned in the Bill; and, after hearing them, to report to the House the State of the Case, with their Opinion thereupon, under their Hands; and whether all Parties that may be concerned in the Consequences of the Bill have signed the Petition; and also that the Judges, having perused the Bill, do sign the same.

Upon reading the Petition of Robert Coney Davies, and Mary Davies, Infants under the Age of One and Twenty Years, by Jane Griffith their Mother, and of the said Jane Griffith, for and on the Behalf of her said Children by William Davies the Younger her First Husband; praying Leave to bring in a Bill, for Sale of the Rectory of Llandevison, in the County of Carmarthen, of the Yearly Value of Three and Twenty Pounds, or thereabouts; and the Rectory of Llangathen, and Chapel of Llangernion and Llechron in Llanegwad, in the same County, of the Yearly Value of Seventy-five Pounds, or thereabouts, which were settled in Trustees by the Petitioners Grandfather's Will, in Trust to renew the Leases thereof from Time to Time, as Occasion should require, and other the Purposes in the Petition set forth; and for applying the Purchase-money for the Infants Maintenance and Benefit, according to the Will and Codicil of their Grandfather:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Consideration of the said Petition shall be, and is hereby, referred to Mr. Baron Bury and Mr. Baron Price; who are forthwith to summon all Parties concerned in the Bill; and, after hearing them, to report to the House the State of the Case, with their Opinion thereupon, under their Hands, and whether all Parties that may be concerned in the Consequences of the Bill have signed the Petition; and also that the Judges, having perused the Bill, do sign the same.

Dutchess of Beaufort versus Lady Granville & al.;

After hearing Counsel, on the Petition of Appeal of Mary Dutchess Dowager of Beaufort, Executrix of the last Will and Testament of Henry late Duke of Beaufort, her late Husband, deceased, as well on the Part of the several Respondents as of the Appellant, against a Decree made in the Court of Chancery on the Three and Twentieth and Four and Twentieth Days of February last past, founded on a Bill brought there by Rebecca Lady Dowager Granville, the Lord Charles Somerset, and the Lady Henrietta Somerset, Infants, by the said Lady Granville their Mother and next Friend, Complainants, against the said Dutchess Dowager and others Defendants; praying the Reversal of the said Decree: As also upon the several Answers of the said Rebecca Lady Dowager Granville, the Lord Charles Somerset, the Lady Henrietta Somerset, James Duke of Ormonde and Mary Dutchess of Ormonde his Wife, Henry Earl of Suffolke and Bindon and Henrietta Countess of Suffolk and Bindon his Wife, Anne Countess Dowager of Coventry, Henry Duke of Beaufort, and the Lord Arthur Somerset, put in thereunto; and due Consideration had of what was offered by Counsel thereupon:

Judgement reversed.

It is this Day Ordered and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Decree complained of in the said Petition of Appeal shall be, and is hereby, reversed.

Adjourn.
