The Lord Chancellor acquainted the House, "That Her Majesty had sent a Commission for the further proroguing of the Parliament."
Then the Lords Commissioners, being seated on a Form placed between the Throne and the Woolsack; the Lord Chancellor in the Middle; the Lord President and Duke of Dover on his Right Hand; and the Lord Chamberlain and the Earl of Sunderland on his Left; commanded the Deputy Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod to let the Commons know, "That the Commissioners desire them to come, and hear the said Commission read."

Parliament prorogued.
"By Virtue of Her Majesty's Commission now read, and to us (amongst other Lords) directed, we do, in Her Majesty's Name, prorogue this Parliament to Tuesday the Second Day of May next: And this Parliament is accordingly prorogued to Tuesday the Second Day of May next."
