PRAYERS.

Coal Trade, Bill.

Counsel, pursuant to the Orders of this House of the Twenty-second and Twenty-fifth Instant, upon the several Petitions of the Duke of Richmond, John Clavering, and the Lord Widdrington, against the Bill relating to the Coal Trade, were heard.

And being withdrawn;

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to dissolve the present, and prevent the future, Combination of Coal Owners, Lightermen, Masters of Ships, and others, to advance the Price of Coals, in Prejudice of the Navigation, Trade, and Manufactures of this Kingdom; and for the further Encouragement of the Coal Trade."

Ordered, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House, on Wednesday next, at Twelve a Clock; and nothing to intervene.

Message from H. C. to return Lovet's Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Cross and others:

To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable Trustees to make Building Leases of Part of the Estate late of John Lovett, deceased, lying in the City of Dublin;" and to acquaint this House, that they have agreed to the same, with One Amendment, whereunto they desire their Lordships Concurrence.

Justices of Peace, Bill.

The House was (according to Order) adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the better qualifying Justices of Peace, in that Part of Great Britain called England, and the Principality of Wales."

After some Time, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Clarendon reported, "That the Committee had made some Progress in the said Bill; and desire another Time may be appointed, for the House to be in a Committee again thereupon."

Ordered, That this House shall be put into a Committee again, on the said Bill, on Monday next, at One a Clock.

Adjourn.
