E. Shaftesbury takes the Oaths.

This Day Anthony Ashley Earl of Shaftesbury took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, and also took and subscribed the Oath of Abjuration, pursuant to the Statutes.

C. Dundonald & al. to attend, to prove the Minority of the E. of Dundonald and L Ballanden at the Election.

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Susanna Countess of Dundonald, Widow of the deceased Earl of Dundonald, Mother to the present Earl of Dundonald, and now Wife to John Lord Yester, John Lord Yester, Countess Dowager of Dalhousie, married to the late Lord Ballanden, and Mother to the present Lord Ballanden, do attend this House, on Thursday the Sixteenth Day of this Instant December, at Eleven a Clock, as Witnesses, in order to prove that the Earl of Dundonald and Lord Ballanden were Minors at the Time of the last Election of the Sixteen Peers for Scotland: And hereof they may not fail, as the contrary will be answered to this House.

Daverton's Naturalization.

Upon reading the Petition of Paul Daverton; praying, "That he may be added to the Bill of Naturalization now depending in this House:"

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioner may be added to the said Bill, according to the Prayer of his Petition.
