Security of Queen's Person, and Protestant Succession, Bill.

The House (pursuant to Order) was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the Security of Her Majesty's Person and Government, and of the Succession to the Crown of Great Britain in the Protestant Line."

After some Time, the House was resumed.

And the Lord Halifax reported, "That the Committee of the whole House had gone through the said Bill; and think it fit to pass, without any Amendment."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

The Lord Chamberlain reported Her Majesty's Answer to the Address of this House, relating to William Gregg; (videlicet,)

"That Her Majesty will give Order, that the Papers and Proceedings desired shall be laid before this House as soon as possible."

A Message from H. C. with a Bill.

A Message from the House of Commons, by Mr Peyton and others:

Who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act for repairing the Harbour and Key of Watchett, in the County of Somersett;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Killingworth's Report delivered.

This Day Mr. Justice Gould and Mr. Baron Price delivered their Report, upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the Sale of a Piece of Ground, late of John Killingworth Esquire, deceased, on which stood several old and decayed Tenements; and applying the Purchase-money for the Benefit of his Wife and Daughters."

Ordered, That the said Report do lie on the Table, to be perused by the Lords.

Scots Peers, Bill to settle the Method of returning.

The House, pursuant to Order, was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee, to consider of Heads for a Bill to settle the Method of returning Peers from the North Part of Great Britain, called Scotland, to the Parliament of Great Britain, and such other Matters relating thereunto as shall be thought fit.

After some Time, the House was resumed.

And the Lord Bishop of Salisbury reported, "That the Committee of the whole House had made some Progress in the Matters to them referred; and agreed upon several Heads, which he was ready to report to the House."

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House shall be put into a Committee again, to consider further of Heads for a Bill to settle the Method of returning Peers from the North Part of Britain, called Scotland, to the Parliament of Great Britain, and other Matters referred to them, relating thereunto, on Thursday next, at Eleven a Clock.

Adjourn.
