A Message from the House of Commons, by Mr. Boscawen and others:

Who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act for erecting a Workhouse in the Town and Borough of Plimouth, in the County of Devon; and for setting the Poor on Work, and maintaining them there;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for erecting a Workhouse in the Town and Borough of Plimouth, in the County of Devon; and for setting the Poor on Work, and maintaining them there."

Papers concerning the Increase and Encouragement of Seamen delivered.

Mr. Hill, at the Bar, delivered in several Papers; the Titles whereof are as follow; (videlicet,)

1. "21 Januarii, 1707/8. Answer to the House of Peers, in Pursuance of their Lordships Precept of the 20th Instant, touching an Order of the 22th March, mentioned in a Council of War of the 4th of April, 1706."

Kaye's Petition referred to Judges.

Upon reading the Petition of Sir Arthur Kaye Baronet, George Kaye Esquire, on the Behalf of himself and his Two Infant Sons John Kaye and Robert Kaye, Thomas Woodcock Esquire, Henry Barker Esquire and Elizabeth his Wife, and John Roydhouse Gentleman; praying Leave to bring in a Bill, to vest Part of the Estate of Christopher Lister Esquire, deceased, in Trustees, to be sold, for Payment of the unpaid Debts and Legacies of the said Christopher Lister, and of a Mortgage to the Petitioner Roydhouse, and what the Petitioner Woodcock hath advanced out of his own Estate, and The Lodge decreed to be sold, for Payment of the Debts of the said Christopher Lister:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Consideration of the said Petition shall be, and is hereby, referred to Mr. Baron Price and Mr. Justice Dormer; who are forthwith to summon all Parties that are to be concerned in the Bill; and, after hearing them, to report to the House the State of the Case, with their Opinion thereupon, under their Hands, and whether all Parties concerned in the Consequences of the Bill have signed the Petition; and also that the Judges, having perused the Bill, do sign the same.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for making effectual the Provision intended by William Bromley, late of Holt Castle, in the County of Worcester Esquire, for Dorothy Bromley, his Youngest Daughter."
