PRAYERS.

Traherne & al. versus Sadleir & al.

After hearing Counsel, upon the Petition and Appeal of Philip Traherne Senior and Philip Traherne Junior, from a Decree of Dismission made in the Court of Chancery, the Eighteenth Day of May last past, upon the Hearing of a Cause wherein the Petitioners were Plaintiffs, against Richard Sadleir, John Sadleir, Simon Beckley, and the Mayor, Commonalty, and Citizens of the City of London (Governors of the Possessions, Revenues, and Goods, of the Hospital of King Edward the Sixth of Christ's Bridewell, and St. Thomas the Apostle) were Defendants; and praying, "That the "said Decree of Dismission may be reversed; and a Decree or Order, that the said Richard Sadleir do pay unto the Hospital One Hundred and Eight Pounds and Costs, or to indemnify the Appellants from the same; and also to pay to the Appellants their Costs, both at Law and in the Court of Chancery:"

Judgement reversed.

It is Ordered and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Decree of Dismission shall be, and is hereby, reversed; and that the Respondent Richard Sadleir do pay, or cause to be paid, to the Appellants Phillip Traherne Senior and Phillip Traherne Junior, what they have paid, or are further to pay, to the Hospital as (fn. 1) GrandLandlord; and also the Appellants Damages and Costs both at Law and in Equity, which Damages and Costs are to be taxed and ascertained by a Master to be appointed by the Court of Chancery.

Cage versus Lister.

Whereas Thursday next was appointed, for hearing of the Cause wherein Henry Gage is Appellant, and Elizabeth Lister Widow Respondent:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause on Friday next, at Eleven a Clock; and that all other Causes be removed, to come on in Course as they now are appointed.

Princess Sophia, Nat. Bill.

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the naturalizing the most Excellent Princess Sophia Electress and Dutchess Dowager of Hanover, and the Issue of her Body."

After some Time, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Stamford reported, "That the Committee had gone through the said Bill; and think it fit to pass, with several Amendments."

Which were read Twice, and agreed to; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the said Amendments.

Delamerie & al. Nat. Bill.

Upon reading the Petition of Vincent Delamerie and others; desiring Leave to bring in a Bill for their Naturalization:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioners have hereby Leave to bring in a Bill, as desired.

Adjourn.
