Bolles's Petition referred to Judges.

Upon reading the Petition of Sir John Bolles Baronet, now a Lunatic, by Dame Mary Cooke, Wife of Thomas Turner Esquire, his Committee and Guardian; praying Leave to bring in a Bill, for the Sale of the Manors of Thimbleby and Woodhal, and the Farms and Tenements thereunto belonging, and certain Woods called Stowborne, Conyers, and Braken Woods, in the County of Lincolne, for Payment of Debts, and other Purposes in the Petition mentioned:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Consideration of the said Petition shall be, and is hereby, referred to Mr. Justice Powis and Mr. Justice Blincoe; who are forthwith to summon all Parties that are to be concerned in the Bill; and, after hearing them, to report to the House the State of the Case, with their Opinion thereupon, under their Hands, and whether all Parties concerned in the Consequences of the Bill have signed the Petition.

Nevill to take the Name of Grey, Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to enable Henry Grey, Second Son of Richard Nevill Esquire, to change his Name from Nevill to Grey, according to the Will of Ralph Lord Grey, deceased."

Ordered, That the Consideration of the said Bill be committed to the Lords following; (videlicet,)

Their Lordships, or any Three of them; to meet on Monday next, at Ten a Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.

Neptune, a free Ship, Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to make the Ship called The Neptune Privateer (a Foreign-built Ship, lately bought as a Wreck) a free Ship."

Ordered, That the Consideration of the said Bill be referred to the Lords Committees beforenamed.

Their Lordships, or any Three of them; to meet at the same Time and Place.

Sheriffs Accompts, Bill.

Whereas this Day was appointed, for the House to be put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the better Ease of Sheriffs, in passing their Accompts; and of the Subject, in relation to the Execution of that Office:"

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House shall be put into a Committee upon the said Bill, on Tuesday next, at Eleven a Clock.

Kettleby's Pet. dismissed.

The House, according to Order, taking into Consideration the Report of Mr. Justice Powell and Mr. Baron Bury, in Pursuance of the Reference made to them, of the Petition of James Kettilby and Bridget his Wife; praying Leave to bring in a Bill, to enable the Petitioner to sell Part of his Estate, in the Petition mentioned, to raise Money, to pay his Debts:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition shall be, and is hereby, dismissed this House.

Mac Carthy versus Baily.

Upon reading the Petition of John Baily; Respondent to the Appeal of Charles M'Carthy; praying further Time for answering to the said Appeal; he being at Corke, in Ireland, when served with the Order for answering, and his Papers at Dublin:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said John Baily hath hereby further Time allowed him for answering to the said Appeal, until Saturday the Eighth Day of February next, at Eleven a Clock.

E. of Thomond's Pet. referred to the Judges.

Upon reading the Petition of the Right Honourable Henry Earl of Thomond in the Kingdom of Ireland, and the Right Honourable the Countess of Bindon, Mother and Guardian of the said Earl of Thomond, and of the Right Honourable the Lady Mary Obrien, Sister of the said Earl of Thomond; praying Leave to bring in a Bill, for enabling the said Earl of Thomond, who is under Age, to perform and execute Conveyances, upon his Marriage, which the Petitioners conceive to be for the Benefit of him and his Family:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Consideration of the said Petition shall be, and is hereby, referred to the Lord Chief Baron of Her Majesty's Court of Exchequer and Mr. Justice Powell; who are forthwith to summon all Parties that are to be concerned in the Bill; and, after hearing them, to report to the House the State of the Case, with their Opinion thereupon, under their Hands, and whether all Parties concerned in the Consequences of the Bill have signed the Petition.
