The Earl of Stamford reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for vesting the Freehold and Copyhold Estate of Thomas Gower Gentleman, deceased, in Trustees, to be sold, for Payment of Debts, and settling the Remainder for the Benefit of his Daughters," as fit to pass, with some Amendments.

Which were read Twice, and agreed to.

Hodie 3^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for vesting the Freehold and Copyhold Estate of Thomas Gower Gentleman, deceased, in Trustees, to be sold, for Payment of Debts; and settling the Remainder for the Benefit of his Daughters."

The Lord Viscount Townshend reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for vesting certain Terms for Forty Years in Trustees, which were granted by John Abington Esquire, deceased; and to empower them to grant, renew, and fill up Leases, according to the Usage of the Manors therein mentioned; and for raising Portions for the Younger Children of the said John Abington," as fit to pass, without any Amendment.

The House took into Consideration the Amendments made by the House of Commons to the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the Amendment of the Law, and the better Advancement of Justice."

Then the Amendments were read Once; and being again severally read, some of them were agreed to, and others disagreed to by the House.

Lords disagree to some of the Commons Amendments to it.

Whereupon, it is Ordered, That it be referred to the same Committee that prepared the Heads for the Bill, to draw Reasons for the Lords Disagreement to some of the Amendments made by the House of Commons to the said Bill; and report to the House.
