South'ton and Wilts, for Preservation of Fish, &c. in, Bill.

The Earl of Stamford reported from the Lords Committees, the Two Bills following; (videlicet,)

1. "An Act for the Increase and better Preservation of Salmon, and other Fish, in the Rivers within the Counties of Southampton and Wilts:"

Reve's Bill.

2. "An Act for vesting the Estates of Christopher Reve the Elder, Clerk, deceased, and of Christopher Reve Clerk, his only Son, also deceased, in certain Trustees, to be sold, for the Payment of their several Debts and Legacies; and for making some Provision for Dorothy, the Widow of the said Christopher Reve the Son, and for Christopher Reve his only Child, an Infant;" as fit to pass, without any Amendments.

Hodie 3^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for vesting the Estates of Christopher Reve the Elder, Clerk, and of Christopher Reve Clerk, his only Son, also deceased, in Trustees, to be sold, for the Payment of their several Debts and Legacies; and for making some Provision for Dorothy, the Widow of the said Christopher Reve the Son, and for Christopher Reve his only Child, an Infant."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Ordered, The Commons have Notice, that the Lords have agreed to the said Bill, without any Amendment.

Message from H. C. for a Conference on the Amendment to Ld. Conway's Bill:

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir Gilbert Dolben and others:

To desire a present Conference with this House, upon the Subject-matter of the last Conference.

To which the House agreed.

Answer.

Then the Commons were called in; and told, "That the Lords agree to a Conference, as desired; and appoint the same presently, in the Painted Chamber."

Ld. Conway's Bill, Conference on an Amendment to it.

The Commons being come to the Conference, the former Managers Names were read.

Then, the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and the Lords went to the Conference.

Which being ended, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Manchester reported, "That the Commons had agreed to the Lords Amendment to Clause (A) added by the Commons to the Bill, intituled, An Act for making the Exemplification of the Will of Edward late Earl of Conway, under the several Seals of the Four Courts of the Kingdom of Ireland, and the Depositions relating to the same, Evidence on Trials at Law."

Carolina, Grant of the Province of:

The Order of the Day being read, and the Officer of the Rolls attending with the Record of the Grant of the Province of Carolina, the same was read.

As also the Two Acts of Assembly passed there; (videlicet,)

Acts of Assembly there, for Religious Worship, complained of, as contrary to their Charter:

No 1. intituled, "An Act for the Establishment of Religious Worship in this Province, according to the Church of England; and for the erecting of Churches for the Public Worship of God; and also for the Maintenance of Ministers, and the building convenient Houses for them."

No 2. "An Act for the more effectual Preservation of the Government of this Province, by requiring all Persons, that shall hereafter be chosen Members of the Commons House of Assembly, and sit in the same, to take the Oaths, and subscribe the Declaration, appointed by this Act; and to conform to the Religious Worship in this Province, according to the Church of England; and to receive the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper, according to the Rites and Usage of the said Church."

Ld. Granville and other Proprietors to be heard, by Counsel.

And it being objected, "That the said Laws are illegal, and not warranted by the Charter of King Charles the Second, granted to the Proprietors of that Province;" and the Lord Granville desiring, on the Behalf of himself and the rest of the Proprietors of that Province, to be heard, by Counsel, to that Matter:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lord Granville, on the Behalf of himself and the other Proprietors, hath hereby Leave to be heard, by his Counsel, to that Matter, on Wednesday next, at Twelve a Clock; and all the Lords to be summoned to attend.
