Smith versus Doleman:

After hearing Counsel, upon the Petition and Appeal of Richard Smith Esquire, from Five several Orders made in the Court of Chancery the Five and Twentieth Day of April and the Twelfth Day of July One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seven, and the First Day of May, the Nineteenth Day of July, the Thirteenth of October One Thousand Seven Hundred and Eight; and several Reports made pursuant thereto, in a Cause there lately depending, between the said Richard Smith Plaintiff, and Sir Thomas Doleman Defendant; praying the Reversal of the said Orders and Reports: As also upon the Answer of Sir Thomas Doleman Knight, put in thereunto; and due Consideration of what was offered thereupon:

Judgement affirmed.

It is Ordered and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal of Richard Smith shall be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the Five several Orders, and also the several Reports made pursuant thereto, complained of in the said Appeal of Richard Smith, shall be, and they are hereby, affirmed.

Attorney General versus Crofts et al.

Whereas To-morrow was appointed for hearing of the Cause wherein Her Majesty's Attorney General is Appellant, and Roger Crofts, Job Alibon, Nevill Ridley, Thomas Ange, Roger Woodcock, and Mary Maddison, are Respondents: Upon reading this Day a Petition, by Consent of the Appellant and Respondents; praying a further Day for hearing the said Appeal, their Counsel being engaged for To-morrow:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Monday the Four and Twentieth Day of this Instant January, at Eleven a Clock in the Forenoon.
