Low Wines, &c. Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for continuing Duties upon Low Wines, and upon Coffee, Tea, Chocolate, Spices, and Pictures; and upon Hawkers, Pedlars, and Petty Chapmen, and upon Muslins; and for granting new Duties upon several of the said Commodities; and also upon Callicoes, China Ware, and Drugs."

ORDERED, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House, presently.

Then the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee thereupon.

After some Time, the House was resumed.

And the Lord Ferrers reported, "That the Committee had gone through the said Bill; and think it sit to pass, without any Amendment."

ORDERED, That the said Bill be read the Third Time To-morrow, at Twelve a Clock.

Subsidy Bill.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Bill, intituled, "An Act for granting to Her Majesty a further Subsidy upon Wines and Merchandizes imported," shall be read a Second Time on Friday next, at Twelve a Clock.

Poor's Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the Relief, Employment, and Settlement, of the Poor."

ORDERED, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House, on Tuesday the Twentieth Day of this Instant March.

Scheme from the Board of Trade, for Relief of the Poor.

Mr. Pople, from the Commissioners of Trade, delivered a Scheme of the Bill drawn by them, for Relief of the Poor.

Act to prevent the Growth of Popery, Bill to explain.

Then the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for explaining and better Execution of an Act, intituled, An Act for the further preventing the Growth of Popery."

After some Time, the House was resumed.

And the Lord Herbert reported, "That the Committee had gone through the said Bill; and think it sit to pass, with some Amendments."

Which were read Twice, and agreed to; and ORDERED, That the said Bill be engrossed, with the said Amendments.

Frauds by Bankrupts to prevent, Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to prevent Frauds frequently committed by Bankrupts."

ORDERED, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House, presently.

Then the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee thereupon.

After some Time, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Stamford reported, "That the Committee had gone through the said Bill; and think it sit to pass, with some Amendments."

Which were read Twice, and agreed to; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the said Amendments.

Continuing Acts, &c. Bill.

The House (pursuant to Order) was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for making perpetual an Act for the more easy Recovery of Small Tithes; and also an Act for the more easy obtaining Partition of Lands in Coparcenary, Joint Tenancy, and Tenancy in Common; and also for making perpetual and amending several Acts relating to the Return of Jurors."

After some Time, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Stamford reported, "That the Committee had gone through the said Bill; and think it fit to pass, with some Amendments."

Which were read Twice, and agreed to.

ORDERED, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House, presently.

Then the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the said Bill.

After some Time, the House was resumed.

And the Lord Halifax reported, "That the Committee had made some Progress in the Bill; and desire another Time may be appointed, for the House to be in a Committee to proceed therein."

ORDERED, That this House shall be put into a Committee again To-morrow, to proceed farther upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for punishing Mutiny and Desertion, and false Musters; and for the better Payment of the Army and Quarters."

Poor's Bills to be printed and published, and the Scheme delivered by the Commissioners of Trade.

Upon the Second Reading of the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the Relief, Employment, and Settlement of the Poor," which came from the House of Commons; the House judging it impracticable to go through a Bill of that Length, which came up so late in the Session, with that Care and Consideration which was necessary to a Bill of that Importance and universal Concern:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Bill shall be printed and published; and also the Bill begun in this House, intituled, "An Act for the further and better Relief, Employment, and Maintenance of the Poor;" and the Scheme of an Act concerning the Poor, delivered into the House this Day from the Commissioners of Trade and Plantations, as drawn by them.
