The Duke of Somerset acquainted the House, "That he had waited on Her Majesty, humbly to know when Her Majesty would please to be attended by this House, with the Representation agreed to Yesterday: That Her Majesty was pleased to appoint this Afternoon, at Two of the Clock, for this House to attend Her Majesty, with the Representation, at St. James's."
Awdley's Bill.
The Lord Paget reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the making void certain Uses, Estates, and Trusts, limited in the Marriage Settlement of Henry Awdley Esquire, of certain Manors and Lands contained in that Settlement; and settling other Manors and Lands, of better Value, to and for the same Uses, Estates, and Trusts," as fit to pass, without any Amendment.
To which the House agreed; and ORDERED, That the said Bill be engrossed.

The Lord Bishop of Salisbury reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for naturalizing Isaac Kops," as fit to pass, without any Amendment.

Judges Report, Irish Linen, &c.
Mr. Justice Tracy and Mr. Baron Smith gave the House an Account, in Writing, of what they and the other Judges had done, in Obedience to the Order of the Fourth Instant, concerning the Laws relating to the Duties and Customs upon Irish Linen.
Lamplugh's Bill.
Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for settling the Estate of Doctor Thomas Lamplugh deceased, pursuant to his Marriage Articles and Settlement prepared for that Purpose; and for Provision for his Younger Children."
ORDERED, That the Consideration of the said Bill be referred to the same Committee to whom the Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable Sir John Astley Baronet to make a Settlement upon his Marriage, during his Minority, and to enable him to buy in any Rent Charge, or other Incumbrance upon his Estate," is referred: Who are to meet on Wednesday the Second Day of February next, at Ten a Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.
Fermer's Bill.

Allanson versus Doulben:
After hearing Counsel, upon the Petition and Appeal of Charles Allanson, of The Middle Temple, London, Esquire, surviving Executor of the last Will and Testament of Sir William Williams, late of Vaynol, in the County of Carnarvon, from an Order of the Court of Chancery, of the One and Twentieth Day of November One Thousand Seven Hundred and Two, and the Order on Hearing and a Decree of the Seventh Day of December, One Thousand Seven Hundred and Two, made on the Behalf of John Doulben and Beata his Wife; and praying, "That the said Orders and Decree may be reversed and set aside:"
Judgement affirmed.
After due Consideration of what was offered thereupon, it is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal of Charles Allanson shall be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the Orders and Decrees therein complained of shall be, and they are hereby, affirmed.

Queen's Answer to Representation, &c.
The Lord Keeper reported, "That the House had attended Her Majesty, with their humble Representation; and that Her Majesty was pleased to return this most Gracious Answer:
"My Lords,
"I am very sorry for any Misunderstandings that happen between the Two Houses of Parliament; which are so inconvenient for the public Service, and so uneasy to Me, that I cannot but take Notice, with Satisfaction, of the Assurances you give Me, that you will carefully avoid all Occasions of them.
"I thank you for the Concern you express for the Rights of the Crown, and for My Prerogative; which I shall never exert so willingly as for the Good of My Subjects, and the Protection of their Liberties."

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the humble Representation of this House, presented to Her Majesty this Day, and Her Majesty's most Gracious Answer there unto, shall be forthwith printed and published.
