The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

ORDERED, That the Commons have Notice, that the Lords have agreed to the said Bill, without any Amendment.

Message from H. C. to return Pawlett's Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by the Lord Cheney and others:

To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act for vesting the Lands of Henry Pawlet, a Lunatic, in Trustees, in order to make suitable Provision for him, his next Heir and next Relations;" and to acquaint this House, that they have agreed to the same, without any Amendment.

The Order being read, for taking into Consideration the Report of the Conference had with the House of Commons the Seventh Instant, upon the Subject-matter of their Lordships Amendments made to the Bill, intituled, "An Act to declare the Alterations in the Oath appointed to be taken by the Act, intituled, An Act for the further Security of His Majesty's Person, and the Succession of the Crown in the Protestant Line; and for extinguishing the Hopes of the Pretended Prince of Wales, and all other Pretenders, and their open and secret Abettors; and for declaring the Association to be determined:"

After Consideration whereof, and Debate thereupon:

The Question was put, "Whether this House shall insist on their Clause (B.) added to the said Bill?"

It was Resolved in the Negative.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Mr. Grey and Mr. Rogers:

To acquaint them, that the Lords do not insist on their Amendment, Clause (B.), added to the said Bill.

Commissioners of Customs to be heard to Privateers Bill:

The House being informed, "That the Commissioners of the Customs desire to be heard, in relation to some Clauses in the Bill, intituled, An Act for the Encouragement of Privateers:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Two of the Commissioners of the Customs do attend this House on Wednesday next, at Eleven a Clock, in order to be heard in relation to Matters contained in the said Bill.

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the Encouragement of Privateers."

After some Time, the House was resumed.

And the Lord Halifax reported, "That the Committee had made some further Progress in the Bill; and desire another Time may be appointed, for them to proceed thereon."

ORDERED, That the House shall be put into a Committee again, to proceed on the said Bill on Wednesday next, at Eleven a Clock.

Who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act for the Relief of Thomas Earl of Lymerick, of the Kingdom of Ireland; and Euphemia Countess Dowager of Lymerick, with relation to the forfeited Estates in Ireland;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

The Duke of Bolton reported from the Lords Committees, the Proceedings and Resolution of the House on Saturday last, in relation to a Paragraph in the Preface of a Book intituled, "The History of the last Parliament."

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Proceedings and Resolution be forthwith printed and published.
