E. of Westmorland takes his Seat.

This Day Thomas Earl of Westmorland sat first in Parliament, upon the Death of his Father Vere Earl of Westmorland; and took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, and also took and subscribed the Oath of Abjuration, pursuant to the Statutes.

Records, Method of keeping.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lord High Treasurer of England do lay before this House, in Writing, an Account of what has been done in Pursuance of the Report and Order of this House of the Thirtieth of March last, in relation to the Method of keeping Records in Offices.
