E. Anglesey takes his Seat.

John Earl of Anglesey sat first in Parliament, upon the Death of his Brother James Earl of Anglesey; and took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, pursuant to the Statute.

Wightwick's Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the settling and vesting divers Manors and Lands of Francis Wightwick, an Infant, lying in the County of Stafford, in Trustees, to enable them to settle and convey the same, upon the Marriage of the said Francis Wightwick, to such Uses, Intents, and Purposes, as shall be agreed upon."

Vaughan versus Thurston.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of Jonathan Vaughan and Katherine his Wife, Relict and Executrix of John Thurston Gentleman, deceased, from a Decree made in the Court of Chancery, the Six and Twentieth Day of July last, on the Behalf of Robert Thurston, and a subsequent Order of the Thirteenth of November last; and praying the Reversal of the said Decree and Order:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Robert Thurston may have a Copy of the said Appeal; and shall and he is hereby required to put in his Answer threunto, in Writing, on Tuesday the Seventeenth Day of this Instant February; at Eleven a Clock in the Forenoon.

Upon reading the Petition of Thomas Cooke; praying Leave to bring in a Bill, for settling an Agreement between him and the Bishop of Carliste:

Upon reading the Petition of James Yate and his Wife; shewing, "That they have an Appeal depending in this House against Richard Lewis, to which he hath answered; and praying, That a Day may be appointed for hearing thereof:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear Counsel thereupon, on Tuesday the Seventeenth Day of this Instant February, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon.
