Lord Lucas takes the Oaths.

Robert Lord Lucas took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, pursuant to the Statute.

Security of the King's Persons, &c. Bill for:

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the Security of His Majesty's Person and Government; and for maintaining the Succession of the Crown, according to the Two late Acts of Parliament."

A Rider was offered, to be added to the Bill, "That no Person shall be appointed to tender the Oath mentioned in the Bill, who hath not qualified himself according to Law, to execute some other Office or Employment."

Which, being read Thrice, was agreed to.

Then this Question was put, "Whether this Bill, with the Rider, shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H.C. with it.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Robert Legard and Mr. Gery:

To carry down the said Bill, and desire their Concurrence thereunto.

Judges to attend.

ORDERED, That all the Judges attend this House on Thursday next, at Eleven a Clock.

Adjourn.
