Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the taking away the Duties upon the Woollen Manufactures, Corn, Grain, Bread, Biscuit, and Meal, exported."

Gaols, for repairing and building, Bill.

Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to enable Justices of Peace to build and repair Gaols, in their respective Counties."

Harison's Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the selling the Reversion and Inheritance of the Farm of Nethercott, in the County of Oxon, for Payment of the Debts and Legacies of George Harison Esquire, deceased."

ORDERED, That the Consideration of the said Bill be referred to the same Committee to whom Mr. Mansell's Bill stands committed; and to meet on Monday next at Ten of the Clock.

City of Norwich, and Barry et al. Bill for confirming a Lease between.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for confirming a Lease and certain Indentures between the City of Norwich, and Richard Barry Esquire, George Sorocold Gentleman, and Richard Soame Merchant; and for enlightening the Streets of the said City."

ORDERED, That the Consideration of the said Bill be committed to the Lords following; (videlicet,)

Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet To-morrow, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.

D'Harcourt et al. Nat. Bill.

Then the Amendments made by the Commons to the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the Naturalization of Oliver D'Harcourt and others," were read Three Times, and agreed to.

ORDERED, That the Commons have Notice, That the Lords have agreed to their Amendments made to the said Bill.

Thorowgood versus Cordell.

After hearing Counsel upon the Petition and Appeal of John Thorowgood and Rebecca his Wife, from a Decree and Orders of the Court of Chancery, of the Twentieth Day of May One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-three, the Seventh of June, the Nineteenth of July, and the Fourth of October, One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-eight, in cross Causes, one wherein Edmund Cordell and Mary his Wife were Complainants, and John Thorowgood and Rebecca his Wife, John Budgen and Mary Hallett, were Defendants; and the other, wherein the said John Thorowgood and Rebecca his Wife were Complainants, and the said Edmund Cordell and Mary his Wife, and John Webb and Mary his Wife, Defendants; as also upon the Answer of the said Edmund

Judgement Offered, with Costs:

Cordell put in thereunto; and due Consideration of what was offered thereupon:

It is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal of John Thorowgood and Rebecca his Wife shall be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the Decree and Orders therein complained of shall be, and they are hereby, affirmed: And it is further ORDERED, That the Appellant John Thorowgood shall pay, or cause to be paid, unto the said Edmund Cordell, the Sum of Thirty Pounds, for his Costs.

Wood reprimanded, for signing the Cause, though not of Counsel in it.

Then the House took Notice, "That the printed Case for John Thorowgood was (contrary to a Standing Order of this House) signed by one Charles Wood, who was not Counsel in the Cause below, nor at the Hearing in this House:"

Whereupon Charles Wood being called in, and kneeling at the Bar, asked Pardon for his Offence; and was reprimanded by the Lord Chancellor, by Order of the House.

Sherard versus Sherard.

Upon reading the Petition of John Castle Sherard, Respondent to the Appeal of Castell Sherard; shewing, "That the Appellant hath not entered into Security for Costs according to Order; and praying a Day of hearing:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Appellant shall, on or before Friday next, enter into a Recognizance for Costs; and that this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Monday the Five and Twentieth Day of this Instant March, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Water-measure of Apples, &c. for ascertaining, Bill.

Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for ascertaining Water Measure of Apples and Pears."
