Upon reading the Petition of Isaac Delagarde, Sampson Lavie, John Baterow, and others; praying to be naturalized, having served His Majesty several Years in the Army:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioners may be naturalized, as desired.
Cowper's Bill:
Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for vesting Part of the Estate of Thomas Cowper, of the City of Chester, Gentleman, in Trustees, for Payment of Debts."
The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"
It was Resolved in the Affirmative.
Message to H. C. with it.
A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir John Hoskyns and Sir Robert Legard:
To carry down the said Bill, and desire their Concurrence thereunto.
Corn, Bounty on the Exportation of, Bill to take away.
Then the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for taking away the Bounty-money for exporting Corn, from the Ninth Day of February One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-nine, to the Nine and Twentieth Day of September One Thousand Seven Hundred."
The House was resumed.
And the Earl of Tankerville reported, "That the Committee had gone through the said Bill; and think it fit to pass, without any Amendment."
To which the House agreed.

Jackson versus Warren.
After hearing Counsel, this Day, upon the Petition and Appeal of Samuel Jackson, and the Answer of Hugh Warren put in thereunto; and Debate thereupon:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Debate shall be adjourned; To-morrow, at Eleven of the Clock.
The House was adjourned during Pleasure; and the Peers withdrew, to robe themselves.
The House was resumed.
King present:
His Majesty, being seated on His Royal Throne, adorned with His Crown and Regal Ornaments, attended with His Officers of State (the Peers being also in their Robes), commanded the Deputy Usher of the Black Rod to go to the House of Commons; and acquaint them, "It is His Majesty's Pleasure, that they attend Him presently."
Who being come, with their Speaker; the Clerk of the Crown read the Titles of the Bills following; (videlicet,)
Bills passed.
"1. An Act for taking away the Bounty-money for exporting Corn, from the Ninth Day of February One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-nine, to the Nine and Twentieth Day of September One Thousand Seven Hundred."
To this Bill the Royal Assent was pronounced, by the Clerk of the Parliaments, in these Words,
"Le Roy le veult."
"2. An Act to enable Thomas Noble Gentleman to sell the undivided Third Part of the Manor of Foxton, in the County of Leicester, when he shall have settled other Lands, an entire Estate, of greater Value, to the same Uses."
To this Bill the Royal Assent was pronounced, by the Clerk of the Parliaments, in these Words,
"Soit fait come il est desiré."
Then His Majesty was pleased to withdraw; and the Commons went to their House.
Address about the Scotch Settlement at Darien.
ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lords Committees appointed to draw an Address, in relation to the Scotch Colony at Darien, to be presented to His Majesty, shall report the same to this House To-morrow, at Eleven of the Clock.
