Message from H. C. with a Bill.

A Message from the House of Commons, by Mr. Freeman and others:

Who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act for continuing the Act for the more easy Recovery of Small Tithes;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

E. of Warwick and L. Mohun to acquaint the House, whether they will be tried together:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Edward Earl of Warwick and Holland and Charles Lord Mohun do acquaint this House, by Petition, To-morrow, at Nine of the Clock in the Forenoon, whether they are willing to be tried together, or whether either of them doth desire to be tried apart.

Both to be brought to the Bar.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lord Lucas, Chief Governor of His Majesty's Tower of London, or the Deputy Governor thereof, do bring to the Bar of this House, in Westm'r Hall, To-morrow, at Nine of the Clock in the Forenoon, the Bodies of Edward Earl of Warwick and Holland and Charles Lord Mohun, now in his Custody; and this shall be a sufficient Warrant on that Behalf.

Message from H. C. with a Bill.

A Message from the House of Commons, by Sir Robert Cotton and others:

Who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable the Town of Liverpool, in the County Palatine of Lancaster, to build a Church, and endow the same; and for making the said Town and Liberties thereof a Parish of itself distinct from Walton;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Woollen Manufacture, for encouraging, Bill, and to prevent the Exportation of Wool from England and Ireland.

The Earl of Stamford reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act to prevent the Exportation of Wool out of the Kingdoms of Ireland and England into Foreign Parts, and for the Encouragement of the Woollen Manufacture in the Kingdom of England," as fit to pass, with some Amendments.

Which were read: And, after Debate thereupon, it is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Bill shall be, and is hereby, re-committed to the same Committee as before; and to meet on Wednesday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Capt. Desborow's Pet. Report about:

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Petition of Captain Desborow.

After some Time, the House was resumed.

And the Lord Herbert reported, "That the Committee was of Opinion, That the joining the Land Officers with the Sea Officers, in the Council of War of the Four and Twentieth of July, One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-seven, was One Occasion of the Miscarriage in not fighting Ponti.

"That the original Sentences of all Court Martials shall be transmitted to the Judge Advocate.

Resolutions concerning Sentences of Court Martials:

"That the original Depositions, upon which the Sentences of Court Martials are founded, be always transmitted to the Judge Advocate.

"And, that in all Sentences of Court Martials, the Crimes for which the Offenders are sentenced be particularly specified."

To which the House agreed.

Upon Motion made this Day from the Bishops:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That, notwithstanding the Order of the Four and Twentieth Instant, concerning the Bishops having Four Tickets apiece, for Places at the Trials of the Earl of Warwick and Lord Mohun; that the giving out the Tickets be now as it was at the Trial of the Lord Mohun in One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-two.

Woodman versus Willughby & al.

Upon reading the Petition of George Willughby and his Wife and Margaret Taylor, praying further Time for answering to Josbua Woodman's Petition:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioners have hereby Time given them for answering thereunto, until Tuesday the Fourth Day of April next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

No Person to be admitted at the Trial, but by Lords Tickets.

ORDERED, That no Person or Persons shall be admitted, at the Trials of the Earl of Warwick and Lord Mohun, upon any Tickets but those given to the Lords.

Wyburgh versus L. Lonsdale.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the Cause wherein Thomas Wyburgh is Appellant, and the Lord Viscount Lonsdale Respondent, on Tuesday the Fourth Day of April next, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon.
