Bernardeau & al. Nat. Bill; Muster-master General to attend with Rolls.
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Muster-master General, or his Deputy, do attend the Lords Committees appointed to consider of a Bill, intituled, An Act for "naturalizing Samuel Bernardeau, Peter Chantreau des Gaudree, and others, Private Gentlemen belonging to His Majesty's Three Troops of Guards and Grenadiers," with the Muster Rolls of the said Three Troops of Guards and Grenadiers; and also an Account how long the Persons mentioned in the said Bill have served in the said Troops, on Friday next, at Nine of the Clock in the Forenoon.
The Earl of Rochester reported from the Lords Committees (appointed to draw an Address to be presented to His Majesty upon the Report Yesterday), an Address;
Which, being read, was agreed to, and is as followeth; (videlicet,)
Address relating to Repair of Forts, and the Navy.
"We, Your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal Subjects, the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, in Compliance with Your Majesty's most Gracious Speech, at the Opening of this present Parliament, relating to the better Security of the Nation, both at Sea and Land, and in Discharge of the Duty perpetually incumbent on us, to take Care for the Safety of Your Majesty's Person and Government, have considered the present Condition of the Royal Navy, as likewise of the Fortifications of the principal Places where the same is to be laid up when it comes into Harbour; and we find, upon Examination of those Matters with the Commissioners for executing the Office of Lord High Admiral of England, as likewise with the Master and Officers of Your Majesty's Ordnance, that the fitting for Sea Service of such Ships of War as the said Commissioners do judge most proper to be in the First Place repaired, and may be performed within the Year One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-nine, would amount to the Sum of One Hundred Sixty-six Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty-two Pounds, Four Shillings, and Ten Pence; and the Fortifications of the aforesaid Places, for the Security of the Navy when in Harbour, which may likewise be performed within the same Year, will amount to the Sum of Eighty Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Pounds; the Particulars of both which Services we have here annexed, for Your Majesty's fuller Information; and we are humbly of Opinion, that the Performance of the same, within the Time abovementioned, will conduce very much to the Safety of Your Majesty's Person and Government, the Benefit of Trade, and the Advantage and Security of the Kingdom:
ORDERED, That the Lords with White Staves attend His Majesty, with the said Address.

Woollen Manufacture in England and Ireland, Proportion of the Charge between.
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Council of Trade do lay before the Lords Committees appointed to consider of the abovesaid Bill, an Account of what Proportion the Charge of the Woollen Manufacture in Ireland bears to the Charge of the Woollen Manufacture in England; and to state what hath been done in respect to the Woollen Manufacture, by an Act passed in Ireland since the last Session of Parliament here; on Monday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.
Lordington Manor, for Sale of, Bill.
