E. Huntingdon, takes the Oaths.

The Earl of Huntingdon took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, pursuant to the Statutes.

Ly. Say & Seal versus Fiennes.

Upon reading the Petition of Katherine Viscountess Dowager Say and Seal; complaining of some undue Proceedings of Mr. Finnes and others, since the Death of her Husband William late Lord Viscount Say and Seal, in relation to some Parts of his Real and Personal Estate; and praying Relief therein:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said William Finnes may have a Copy of the said Petition; and that the Petitioner shall be heard, by her Counsel, upon the Matters mentioned in her Petition, on Monday the Seven and Twentieth Day of this Instant February, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon; as also Counsel for Mr. Finnes, or any others concerned, if they think fit.

Yarmouth Piers, Bill for repairing.

The Earl of Stamford reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the clearing, repairing, preserving, and maintaining, the Haven and Piers of Great Yarmouth, in the County of Norfolke," as fit to pass, without any Amendment.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the clearing, repairing, preserving, and maintaining, the Haven and Piers of Great Yarmouth, in the County of Norfolke."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

ORDERED, That the Commons have Notice, the Lords have agreed to the said Bill, without any Amendment.

Forts, &c. Estimate of Expences for repairing, Committee to consider of.

Upon reading this Day the Estimate of Work and Repairs necessary to be done at the several Forts and Batteries upon the River Medway, and other Forts; and also a List of the Ships the Royal Navy is composed of, and in what Condition they are as to Repair:

The Lords following were appointed a Committee, to consider of the said Papers; and report to the House what shall occur to them upon the Reading thereof; who have Power to send for Persons, Papers, and Records, as they shall think fit:

Webb versus Kirke:

After hearing Counsel, upon the Petition and Appeal of Henry Webb, Executor of the last Will and Testament of Doctor Thomas Wood, late Bishop of Coventry and Lichfield, from a Decree of the Court of Chancery, made the Eighth Day of December One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-eight, in a Cause wherein Thomas Kirke Executor of Mary Kirke his Wife was Plaintiff, and the Petitioner Defendant; and praying the Reversal of the said Decree, as to the Sum of One Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty-nine Pounds and Ten Shillings; as also upon the Answer of the said Thomas Kirke put in thereunto:

Judgement affirmed.

Upon due Consideration of what was offered thereupon, it is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal of Henry Webb shall be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the Decree therein complained of shall be, and is hereby, affirmed: And it is further ORDERED, That the said Henry Webb shall pay, or cause to be paid, unto the said Thomas Kirke, the Sum of Twenty Pounds, for his Costs.

Smallman & al. versus Brayne & al.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the Cause wherein William Smallman and Thomas Gregory are Appellants, and Humphry Brayne and Richard Walker Respondents, on Thursday the Three and Twentieth Day of this Instant February, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Russia Trade, for enlarging, Bill.

Whereas To-morrow was appointed for the Second Reading of the Bill, intituled, "An Act to enlarge the Trade to Russia," and hearing Counsel or Merchants thereupon:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Bill shall be read the Second Time, and also the Merchants or Counsel heard for and against the said Bill, on Tuesday the One and Twentieth Day of this Instant February, Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon.
