The Earl of Romney, Master of the Ordnance, delivered, "An Estimate of Work and Repairs necessary to be done at the several Forts and Batteries upon the River Medway."

Ships Margaret and Friendship, to trade as free Ships, Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the Ships Margaret and Friendship, of Bristoll, to trade as free Ships."

River Tone, Bill to make navigable.

Whereas this Day was appointed for the House to be put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for making the River Tone navigable, from Bridgewater to Taunton, in the County of Somerset:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Bill, and also the Petition of the Tenants of the Manor of Taunton Deane, in the County of Somerset, shall be, and they are hereby, committed to the same Committee to which Mr. Penne's Bill stands committed; who are to meet on Wednesday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Berkeley et al. versus Cope et al.:

After hearing Counsel, upon the Petition and Appeal of John Berkeley Esquire, and also of Reginald Bretland Serjeant at Law, and Robert Fowle Goldsmith, from a Decree made in the Court of Chancery, the Three and Twentieth Day of July last, in a Cause there depending, between Jonathan Cope Esquire, William Cope, and Anthony Cope, (Sons of Jonathan Cope and Susan his Wife, both deceased,) Infants under the Age of Seven Years, by Sir Thomas Peshall Baronet, Sir Robert Jenkinson Baronet, and Henry Farmer Esquire, their Guardians, Plaintiffs, and the said John Berkeley, Reginald Bretland, and Robert Fowle, Defendants; as also upon the Answer of the said Jonathan Cope, William Cope, and Anthony Cope, (by their said Guardians) put in thereunto:

Judgement affirmed.

After due Consideration of what was offered thereupon, it is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal of John Berkeley, Reginald Bretland, and Robert Fowle, shall be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the Decree from which they appealed shall be, and is hereby, affirmed.

Yarmouth Piers, Bill for repairing.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Estimate shall be taken into Consideration on Thursday next, at Eleven of the Clock.
