Registering Ships, Bill to enlarge the Time for.

The Lord Herbert reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for enlarging the Time for registering of Ships, pursuant to the Act for preventing Frauds and regulating Abuses in the Plantation Trade," as fit to pass, without any Amendment.

Hodie 3^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for enlarging the Time for registering of Ships, pursuant to the Act for preventing Frauds and regulating Abuses in the Plantation Trade."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

ORDERED, That the Commons have Notice, the Lords have agreed to the said Bill, without any Amendment.

Ruby and Plymouth Prizes to trade as English Ships, Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act, that the Ships called The Ruby Prize and Plymouth may have Freedom of trading as English-built Ships.

ORDERED, That the Consideration of the said Bill be committed to the Lords following; (videlicet,)

Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet Tomorrow, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.

Message from H. C. to remind the Lords of the Bill for more easy Return of Juries at the Assizes, &c.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir Marmaduke Wyvell and others:

To put this House in Mind of a Bill, intituled, "An Act for the more easy Return of Juries at the Assizes and Sessions."

Lustring Company, Bill:

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the better Encouragement of the Royal Lustring Company, and the more effectual preventing the fraudulent Importation of Lustrings and Alamodes."

After some Time, the House was resumed.

And the Lord Bishop of London reported, "That the Committee had gone through the said Bill; and think it fit to pass, with One Amendment."

Which was read Twice, and agreed to.

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill, with the Amendment, shall pass?

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. with an Amendment to it.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Miles Cook and Sir Lacon William Child:

To return the said Bill, and desire their Concurrence to their Lordships Amendment.

High Crimes and Misdemeanors, Precedents of Judgements for.

The Earl of Stamford reported from the Lords Committees appointed to consider of what Judgements have been given upon Impeachments for high Crimes and Misdemeanors, the Precedents following:

"18° Jacobi, 1621. Sir Gyles Mompesson's Case.

"3° Maii, 1621. Lord Chancellor Bacon's Case.

"4° Maii, 1621, post Meridiem. Sir Francis Mitchell's Case.

13° Maii, 1624. E. Middl'x Lord Treasurer's Case."

Which were read, out of the Journals.

ORDERED, That the Consideration of this Report shall be resumed To-morrow, at Eleven of the Clock.
