Upon reading the Petition of Thomas Barrow Gentleman, Susan his Wife, and Alice Hare Spinster her Sister; praying, "That they may be heard, by their Counsel, before the Second Reading of the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the better enabling Sir Ralph Hare Baronet to make a Jointure, and settle his Estate, and raise Portions and Maintenances for his Younger Children:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioners shall be heard, by their Counsel, as desired, on Friday next, at Eleven of the Clock; as also Counsel for the Bill at the same Time, if they think fit.

Upon reading the Petition of Anne Countess of Maclesfeld; shewing, "That her Counsel are retained in many Causes, which require their Attendance in London on Tuesday next, on which Day they were to attend this House; and praying that Wednesday, or such other Day as this House shall think fit, may be appointed, to proceed further in hearing her Counsel and Witnesses:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will proceed to hear Counsel and Witnesses, for the said Countess of Maclesfeld, on Wednesday next, at Eleven of the Clock.

The Lord Lucas acquainted the House, "That the Lord Mohun's Behaviour is such, that he hath been forced to keep him under close Confinement."
