Hammered Money, for recoining, Bill; and making out new Exchequer Bills.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to prevent the further Currency of any Hammered Silver Coin of this Kingdom, and for re-coining such as is now in Being; and for the making out new Exchequer Bills, where the former Bills are, or shall be, filled up by Indorsements."

ORDERED, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House, presently.

Then the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the said Bill.

After some Time, the House was resumed.

And the Lord Herbert of Cherbury reported, "That the Committee had gone through the said Bill; and think it fit to pass, without any Amendment."

Bishop of Ely's Bill.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for enabling Symon Lord Bishop of Ely and his Successors to lease the Manor-house and Demesne Lands of Downham, in the Isle of Ely, and for confirming a Lease lately thereof made by the said Bishop; and for the clearing of the said Bishop and others from Dilapidations there."

Countess of Inchiquin versus Ld. Howard Esc Privilege waived.

This Day the Lord Chancellor reported to the House, what was offered by Counsel, at the Bar, the Third Instant, upon the Petition of Elizabeth Countess Dowager of Inchiquin, and the Answer of the Lord Howard of Escrick put in thereunto.

And, after Debate thereupon, the Lord Howard declared, "That he doth and will waive his Privilege, as to all Proceedings in any Court whatsoever, touching any Marriage precedent to his Marriage with the said Countess."

To which the House agreed.
