This Day John Lord Poulett sat first in Parliament, upon the Death of his Father John Lord Poulett; and took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, pursuant to the Statutes.
Warner's Act, to explain, Bill.
The Earl of Manchester reported from the Committee, the Bill, intituled, "An Act explaining a former Act of Parliament, intituled, An Act for enabling Trustees to sell Part of the Estate of Edmund Warner deceased, for Payment of his Debts, and for preserving the rest for the Benefit of his Heir."
Sir J. Hanham's Bill.
Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for vesting the Manor of Holme, alias East Holme, and other Lands and Tithes of Sir John Hanham Baronet, in Trustees, to be sold, for discharging a Mortgage thereupon, and Payment of his other Debts."
E. of Shastesbury excused.
A Letter was read, from the Earl of Shastebury, desiring to be excused his Attendance.
To which the House agreed; being satisfied of his Inability to attend.
L. Brooke to attend.
A Letter was read, from the Lord Brooke, desiring to be excused.
But the same was not allowed.
L. Maynard excused.
A Letter from the Lord Maynard was read, desiring to be excused his Attendance.
To which the House agreed; being satisfied of his Inability to attend.
L. Hatton to attend; and the Order to attach him vacated, he not having received the Lord Keeper's Letter:
The House being this Day informed, by a Letter from the Lord Viscount Hatton, "That his Lordship had not received the Order of this House of the Fourteenth Instant, with a Letter sent to him by the Lord Keeper of the Great Seal of England, requiring his Attendance the Three and Twentieth Instant:"
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Order made Yesterday, for taking the said Lord Viscount Hatton into Custody, shall be, and is hereby, revoked: And it is also ORDERED, That the Lord Keeper do write to the said Lord Viscount Hatton, and send him a Copy of the Order of the Fourteenth Instant, requiring his Attendance on Thursday the Third Day of December next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.
Comptroller of Inland Postoffice to attend, about the Letter miscarrying.
The House being informed, "That the Lord Viscount Hatton had not received a Letter directed to him, of the Fourteenth Instant, wherein was an Order of the House of Peers:"
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Comptroller of the Inland Post-office do give this House an Account how the said Letter, directed to the said Lord Viscount Hatton, hath miscarried.

The House being this Day moved (on the Behalf of Samuel Roll Esquire, Vere Booth, Hugh Fortescue and Bridget his Wife, Richard Wynne, Chrisopher Davenport, and George Townshend, Respondents to the Petition and Appeal of Henry Earl of Lincolne, an Infant, by Susanna Countess of Lincoln his Mother and Prochein Amy), "That a Day may be appointed for hearing of Counsel upon the said Petition, and the Respondents Answers thereunto:"
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear Counsel, upon the said Petition and Answers, on Tuesday the First Day of December next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.
