Coin, to prevent the counterfeiting of, Bill.

Hodie 3^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the better preventing the counterfeiting the current Coin of this Kingdom."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Miles Cook and Sir Richard Holford:

To carry down the said Bill, and desire their Concurrence thereunto.

Burlington Piers, Bill.

Hodie 3^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the Repair of the Piers of Bridlington, alias Burlington, in the East Riding of the County of York."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

ORDERED, That the Commons have Notice, the Lords have agreed to the said Bill, without any Amendment.

Knight's Marriage to annul, Bill.

Hodie 3^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for annulling the Marriage of Hannah Knight an Infant, and directing the Guardianship of the said Infant."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

ORDERED, That the Commons have Notice, the Lords have agreed to the said Bill, without any Amendment.

Undue Marriages of Infants, to prevent, Bill.

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act to prevent undue Marriages of Infants, and for better securing the Guardianship of them."

After some Time, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Bridgewater reported, "That the Committee had gone through the said Bill; and think it fit to pass, with some Amendments."

Which, being read Twice, were agreed to; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the said Amendments.

Message from H. C. to return the Lustrings Bill; and to remind the Lords of the Sheriffs Accompts Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir Rowland Gwynn and others:

To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the further Encouragement of the Manufacture of Lustrings and Alamodes within this Realm; and for the better preventing the Importation of prohibited Goods, and Goods without paying the Duties charged on the same;" and to acquaint this House, that they have agreed to the Lords Amendments made to the said Bill.

And also to put their Lordships in Mind of a Bill, intituled, "An Act for the Ease of Sheriffs, in the Execution of their Offices, and passing their Accompts."

Malt, &c. Duties on Bill.

Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for granting to His Majesty certain Duties upon Malt, Mum, Sweets, Cyder, and Perry, as well towards carrying on the War against France, as for the necessary Expence of His Majesty's Houshold, and other Occasions."

Ld. Culpeper versus Ld. Fairfax's Bill.

Whereas this Day was appointed for resuming the Consideration, whether the Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable Thomas Lord Fairfax of the Kingdom of Scotland to raise Money, charged by Thomas Lord Culpeper deceased upon his Estate," shall be read a Second Time; and that One Counsel on either Side do attend:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Consideration thereof shall be resumed To-morrow, next after the Report of the Bill for regulating of Prisons; and that One Counsel on either Side do then attend.

Countess Radnor versus Vandebendy et al.

After hearing Counsel this Day, upon the Petition of the Countess of Radnor, against John Vandebendy and others:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will proceed to hear Counsel farther, in this Cause, on Wednesday next, the First Business.

ORDERED, That the Consideration of the said Bill be committed to the Lords following; (videlicet,)

Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet To-morrow, at Nine of the Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.

Poor Laws, to amend Defects in, Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for supplying some Defects in the Laws for the Relief of the Poor of this Kingdom."

ORDERED, That the said Bill shall be committed to a Committee of the whole House, on Wednesday next.
