Leighton's Bill.

Upon reading the Petition of Baldwin Leighton Esquire; shewing, "That he having a Bill depending in this House, to which Counsel is appointed to be heard To-morrow; and praying further Time, he being to examine some Records:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear Counsel, for and against the said Bill, on Wednesday the One and Thirtieth Day of this Instant March, at Eleven of the Clock.

Westminster Hay-market Bill.

Hodie 3^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for paving and regulating the Hay-market, in the Parishes of St. Martin in the Fields and St. James, within the Liberty of Westminster."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass ?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

ORDERED, That the Commons have Notice, the Lords have agreed to the said Bill, without any Amendment.

Lustrings, &c. to encourage the Manufacture of, Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the further Encouragement of the Manufacture of Lustrings and Alamodes within this Realm; and for the better preventing the Importation of prohibited Goods, and Goods without paying the Duties charged on the same."

ORDERED, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House, on Monday next, at Eleven of the Clock.

Party Guiles, Bill concerning, and to prevent Frauds in the Excise:

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for repealing a Clause in a former Act, relating to Party Guiles; and for the better preventing Frauds and Abuses of Brewers and others, chargeable with the Duties of Excise."

ORDERED, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House, To-morrow, next after the Earl of Derby's Case.

Distillers to be heard concerning it.

Upon reading the Petition of the Master, Wardens, and Assistants, of the Company of Distillers of London, on Behalf of themselves and other free Distillers in London, Westminster, and Southwarke; praying to be heard, by their Counsel, at the Bar, to a Clause in the Bill, intituled, "An Act for repealing a Clause in a former Act relating to Party Guiles, and for the better preventing Frauds and Abuses of Brewers and others chargeable with the Duties of Excise:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioners shall be heard, by their Counsel, before the Committee of the whole House to whom the said Bill stands committed, To-morrow, at Twelve of the Clock, what they have to offer in relation to the said Clause.

L. Chief Justices to attend;

ORDERED, That the Lords Chief Justices of His Majesty's Courts of King's Bench and Common Pleas do attend this House on Wednesday next, at Eleven of the Clock.

and Registers in Chancery, about Leighton's Bill.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That George Edwards and Carew Guydot Esquires, Deputy Registers in Chancery, do attend this House on Wednesday next, at Eleven of the Clock, with their Books, wherein are the Minutes and Orders relating to the Inquisition upon which is grounded the Bill now depending in this House, intituled, "An Act for Relief of Baldwin Leighton Esquire, in relation to the Office of Warden of The Fleete:"

And it is further ORDERED, That William Ford, George Lumley, Thomas Robinson, John Hutchinson, John Curtis, Charles Herbert, Edward Isham, Joseph Leonard, Charles Reade, Stephens, Gilbert, and Percivall Brumskill, do then also attend this House.
