E. of Montagu versus E. of Bath, for Waiver of Privilege.

The Earl of Stamford reported from the Lords Committees for Privileges, to whom was referred the Petition of the Right Honourable the Earl of Montagu, "That their Lordships have considered the said Petition, and the Answer of the Right Honourable the Earl of Bathe put in thereunto; and offer to the Consideration of the House the said Answer, and the Two Precedents they find in the Case; (videlicet,)

"The one in the Case of Finnes, the Lord Viscount Bindon's Servant, 7° Decembris, 27° Eliz.

"The other, in the Case of Sawrey and the Earl of Derby, 26° Octobris, 1696."

Upon Report from the Lords Committees for Privileges, to whom was referred the Petition of the Earl of Montagu:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the further Debate of this Matter shall be resumed on Friday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.
