PRAYERS.

Lords take the Oaths.

This Day Charles Earl of Winchilsea and Charles Earl of Berkeley took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, pursuant to the Statute.

Sir Joseph Tily versus Wharton.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of Sir Joseph Tily Knight and Dame Deborah his Wife, late Wife of Sir John Roberts Baronet deceased, and Administratrix, with the Will annexed, and Residuary Legatee of the Real and Personal Estate, of the said Sir John Roberts, from Two several Orders and Decrees made in Chancery; one of the Eight and Twentieth of June last, and the other of the Two and Twentieth Day of March last, in a Cause there depending, wherein William Wharton Esquire and Eunuce his Wife were Plaintiffs, and the Petitioner and John Gardiner, Samuel Browning, and John Caulier, Robert Atwood, and Richard Turner, were Defendants; and praying, "That the said Orders and Decrees may be set aside and reversed:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said William Wharton and Eunuce his Wife may have a Copy of the said Appeal; and shall and they are hereby required to put in their Answer thereunto, in Writing, on Tuesday the Sixth Day of May next, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon; and that the Service of this Order upon Mr. Wharton's Clerk in Chancery shall be good Service, in order thereunto.

King's Bench and Fleet Prisons, Bill for regulating.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That on Tuesday next, this House will hear Counsel, for any Persons who shall think themselves concerned for and against the Bill, intituled, "An Act for regulating the Prisons of The King's Bench and Fleete," before the Second Reading of the said Bill.

Countess of Anglesey's Bill for a Separation.

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for separating James Earl of Anglesey from Katherine Countess of Anglesey his Wife, for the Cruelty of the said Earl."

After some Time, the House was resumed.

And the Lord North & Grey reported, "That the Committee had gone through the said Bill; and desire a Time may be appointed for the Report."

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Report from the Committee of the whole House, upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for separating James Earl of Anglesey, from Katherine Countess of Anglesey his Wife, for the Cruelty of the said Earl," shall be made on Saturday next, at Twelve of the Clock; and no other Business to intervene; and all the Lords summoned to attend.

American Plantations, Bill to reunite Government of to the Crown.

Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for re-uniting to the Crown the Government of several Colonies and Plantations in America."

ORDERED, That the said Bill be read the Second Time on Wednesday next.

Perkins's Witnesses.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That William Lacy Esquire and Mary his Wife, Katherine Lacy, Henry Arundell Esquire, Sir Henry Tichborne, George Penne, John Penne, George Lenthall, Mrs. Anne Hull, Mrs. Mary Long, Mr. Bernard Wentworth and his Wife, John Franckland, Mary Hopkins, Elizabeth Sanders, Dorothy Clapcoate, Widow Haynes, and Mrs. Anne Underhill, shall and they are hereby required to attend this House, as Witnesses, on the Behalf of Edmund Perkins, on Tuesday the Thirteenth Day of May next, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon: And it is further ORDERED, That they shall and hereby have the Protection of this House, in their coming hither, staying here, and returning to their own Habitations.
