Lewin's Bill.

The Earl of Rochester reported from the Committee, the Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable John Lewin to sell certain Messuages in Southwarke, for Payment of Debts," as fit to pass, with One Amendment.

Which, being read Twice, was agreed to; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the said Amendment.

Ford, Warden of The Fleet versus Leighton's Bill:

After hearing Counsel this Day, at the Bar, upon the Petition of William Weedon Ford Esquire, Warden of The Fleete, against the Bill, intituled, "An Act for Relief of Baldwin Leighton Esquire, in relation to the Office of Warden of The Fleet;" and also Counsel for the said Baldwin Leighton:

Bill rejected.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Bill shall be, and is hereby, rejected.
