L. Crew, Bp. of Durham, takes his Seat as a Baron.
This Day Nathaniel Lord Bishop of Durham brought his Writ of Summons, as Lord Crew, upon the Death of his Brother Thomas Lord Crew; and, after taking the Oaths, and making and subscribing the Declaration, pursuant to the Statutes, took his Place on the Barons Bench, not being in his Bishop's Habit.
Baker's Bill.
Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for vesting in Sydenham Baker Gentleman an absolute Estate of Inheritance in Fee Simple, in a certain Rent, Messuages, Lands, and Hereditaments, in the County of Devon; and securing to John Baker Gentleman, and Henry Baker an Infant, his Son, Monies in Lieu of their Claims thereunto."
ORDERED, That the Consideration of the said Bill be committed to the Lords following:
Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet on Wednesday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.

Upon reading the Petition of Elizabeth Countess Dowager of Inchiquin; praying, "That the Lord Howard of Escrick may not be permitted to take up his Privilege against the Petitioner:"
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Lord Howard may have a Copy of the said Petition; and do put in his Answer thereunto, in Writing, on Wednesday the Two and Twentieth Day of this Instant December.
