Report of the Conference on the Bill to prohibit India Silks, &c.
The Commons being come to the Free Conference, the Managers Names were read.
Then the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and the Lords went to the Free Conference.
Which being ended, the House was resumed.
And the Earl of Rochester reported, "That their Lordships had attended the Free Conference, as commanded; and that the Commons insisted on their Disagreement to the Amendments made by this House to the Bill, intituled, "An Act to restrain the wearing of all Wrought Silks and Bengalis imported into this Kingdom from Persia and East India, and all Callicoes printed or stained there.
After Debate;
The Question was put, "Whether this House shall adhere to their Amendments made to the Bill, intituled, "An Act to restrain the wearing of all Wrought Silks and Bengalls imported into this Kingdom from Persia and East India, and all Callicoes printed or stained there?"
It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Sir C. W. Bampfield versus Popham.
Upon reading the Petition of Alexander Popham Esquire; praying further Time for answering to the Petition of Sir Coplestone Warwick Bampfeild and others:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Alexander Popham hath hereby Time given him for answering thereunto, until Friday the Second Day of April next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.
Message from H. C. to remind the Lords of the Bill for Relief of Creditors, in Cases of Escapes, & c.
A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Colt and others:
To put their Lordships in Mind of the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the more effectual Relief of Creditors in Cases of Escapes, and for preventing Abuses in Prisons and other pretended Privileged Places."
Luxford protected whilst he attends the House.
Upon reading the Petition of Richard Luxford Gentleman; praying the Protection of this House, during his Attendance on the Lords Committees appointed to consider of his former Petition:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Richard Luxford shall have the Protection of this House, from any Arrest, or being taken into Custody by the Warden of The Fleete, during such his Attendance.
Relief of Creditors, in Cases of Bankruptcy, Bill.
ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House shall be put into a Committee To-morrow, at Eleven of the Clock, to proceed on the Bill, intituled, "An Act for Relief of Creditors, by making Compositions with their Debtors, in case two Thirds in Number and Value do agree;" at which Time any Person concerned may be heard, by themselves or Counsel, in relation to a Clause offered, "That the Debtor shall give a perfect List of his Estate and Effects upon Oath."
