Ly. C. Fane's Bill.

ORDERED, That the Committee appointed to consider of the Lady Fane's Bill do meet on Wednesday next.

Silver Coinage, for regulating, Bill.

The Earl of Bridgewater reported from the Committee of the whole House, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the regulating the Coinage of the Silver Money of this Kingdom," as fit to pass, with several Amendments.

Which were read Twice, and agreed to.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the regulating the Coinage of the Silver Money of this Kingdom."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill, with the Amendments, shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

To be delivered to H. C. at a Conference.

ORDERED, That the said Bill shall be delivered to the House of Commons, at a Conference.

ORDERED, That the Lords of the present Committee, appointed to amend the Bill, shall be Managers of this Conference; and to withdraw presently, to consider what shall be offered at the Conference upon the Amendments to the Bill.

Then the House was adjourned during Pleasure; and the Lords withdrew.

After some Time, the House was resumed.

Heads for a Conference, about Amendments made to it by the Lords.

And the Earl of Rochester reported, what was drawn by the Committee.

Which was read, and agreed to, as followeth; and ordered to be delivered at the Conference; (videlicet,)

"The Lords have directed this Bill, with the Amendments made to it by their Lordships, to be delivered at a Conference; bing willing to take that Opportunity of acquainting the House of Commons, that their Lordships are sensible the Alterations they have made in this Bill will fall very short of what may be requisite to be done upon a Subject so nice and of so general a Concern: But their Lordships persuade themselves, that whatsoever may prove defective in these Clauses and Alterations will be fully supplied by the Care and Prudence of the House of Commons."

Message to H. C. for the Conference.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Miles Cooke and Mr. Pitts:

To desire a present Conference, in the Painted Chamber, upon the Subject-matter of the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the regulating the Coinage of the Silver Money of this Kingdom."

Answer.

The Messengers sent to the House of Commons return Answer:

That the Commons will give a Conference, as desired.

The Commons being come to the Conference; the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and the Lords went to the Conference.

Which being ended, the House was resumed.

Conference reported.

And the Earl of Rochester reported, "That they had delivered the Bill, with the Amendments, as commanded."

Stoner's Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to enable Thomas Stoner Esquire, Son and Heir of John Stoner Esquire, deceased, to make a Jointure and Settlement of his Estate in Marriage, notwithstanding his Minority."

Warner's Bill.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for enabling Trustees to sell Part of the Estate of Edmund Warner deceased, for Payment of his Debts, and for preserving the rest for the Benefit of his Heir."

ORDERED, That the Consideration of the said Bill be committed to the Lords following; (videlicet,)

A Message from the House of Commons, by Sir Thomas Littleton and others:

Who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act for enlarging the Times to come in and purchase certain Annuities therein mentioned; and for continuing the Duties formerly charged on Low Wines, or Spirits of the First Extraction, for carrying on the War against France;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Annuities, to enlarge the Time for purchasing, and Duties on Low Wines, &c. to continue, Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for enlarging the Times to come in and purchase certain Annuities therein mentioned; and for continuing the Duties formerly charged on Low Wines, or Spirits of the First Extraction, for carrying on the War against France."

Exports and Imports, Accompt of, delivered.

The Commissioners of the Customs were called in, and delivered several Papers, pursuant to Two Orders of this House of the Thirtieth of December last.

ORDERED, That the said Papers shall be taken into Consideration on Monday next.
