Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to enable Anthony Earl of Kent, and Henry Grey his Son and Heir Apparent, to make a Jointure for Jemima, Wife of the said Henry Grey."
ORDERED, That the Consideration of the said Bill be committed to the Lords following; (videlicet,)
Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet on Monday the Thirtieth Instant, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.
Brooke's Bill.
Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for vesting the Manor of Madeley, in the County of Salop, in Trustees, for certain Purposes therein mentioned."
Double Returns, &c. to prevent, Bill.
Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to prevent false and double Returns of Members to serve in Parliament."
ORDERED, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House, this Day Fortnight.
Relief of Creditors, Bill for.
The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for Relief of Creditors."
After some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.
And the Lord Herbert reported, "That the Committee was of Opinion, That the Judges take this Bill, and prepare a more useful one, and present it to the House."
To which the House agreed; and ordered it accordingly.
Oaths in Ireland, Bill to amend the Act for.
Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for amending an Act made in the Third Year of His present Majesty and the late Queen, intituled, An Act for abrogating the Oath of Supremacy in Ireland, and appointing other Oaths."
ORDERED, That the said Bill be read again on Monday Sevennight.
