The Reasons given Yesterday by the Commons, at the Conference, against the Lords Amendments to the Bill, intituled, "An additional Act for appointing and enabling Commissioners to examine, take, and state, the Public Accompts of the Kingdom," were read.

After Debate thereupon;

The Question was put, "Whether this House shall agree with the House of Commons?"

It was Resolved in the Negative.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lords following, or any Three of them, are to meet Tomorrow, at Four of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers, to draw Reasons, to be offered at a Conference with the House of Commons, for disagreeing with them upon the additional Act for appointing and enabling Commissioners to examine, take, and state, the Public Accompts of the Kingdom; whose Lordships are to report on Thursday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon:

Mutiny Bill.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the House shall be put into a Committee, to proceed on the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the Punishment of Mutineers and Deserters, preventing false Musters, and paying the Army according to the Musters of Effective Men, and for the better paying of Quarters," on Thursday next, the First Business after Twelve of the Clock; and no other Business to intervene.

Leave was given to the Lord Bishop of Salisbury, to go into the Country.

Molineux's Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to vest certain Lands of William Molyneaux Gentleman in Trustees, for raising the Sum of Two Thousand Pounds, for paying the Portions to his Younger Brother and Sisters, pursuant to a Decree in the Court of Chancery."

Marquis of Monpovillan, Nat. Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for naturalizing of Armand Nompar de Caumont, Marquis of Monpovillan."

ORDERED, That the Consideration of the said Two Bills be referred to the Committee, to whom the Bill, intituled, "An Act for Sale of the Estate of John Cripps Gentleman, in the County of Kent, and for settling another Estate, of greater Value, in Lieu thereof, to the same Uses," is referred.

The Lord Cornwallis reported from the Committee of the whole House, the Bill, intituled, "An Act against adhering to Their Majesties Enemies," with some Amendments.

Which were read Twice, and agreed to; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed.

Quakers Evidence, Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to empower the High Court of Chancery and the Court of Exchequer to accept of the solemn Answer or Evidence of any of the People called Quakers."

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Bill shall be committed to a Committee of the whole House; on Thursday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Cole versus L. Stawell & al.

Upon reading the Petition of Appeal of John Cole Esquire, from an Order made in the High Court of Chancery, by the now Lords Commissioners of the Great Seal, the Fifth Day of March last, upon the Bill of Revivor of John Lord Stawell, John Topp Esquire, Christian his Wife, Margaret and Jane Gray, Infants, by the Lord Stawell their next Friend, Complainants; which Order fers aside a Decree, Reports, and Orders, formerly made in this Cause; and also from an Order of the Lords Commissioners, of the Eighteenth of January last, upon arguing the Appellant's Exceptions to a Report made by a Master, pursuant to the said Order of the Fifth of March:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lord Stawell, John Topp, Christian his Wife, Margaret and Jane Gray, Infants, by the Lord Stawell their next Friend, may have a Copy of the said Petition; and do put in their Answer or respective Answers thereunto, in Writing, on Tuesday the Sixteenth Day of this Instant February, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Stickland versus Coker.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the Cause wherein John Stickland is Plaintiff, and Robert Coker Defendant, on Friday the Twelfth Day of this Instant February, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Michell versus Medcalfe.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of Daniell Michell, from a Decree made in the Court of Chancery the Five and Twentieth Day of January last, on the Behalf of William Medcalfe; and praying the Reversal of the said Decree:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said William Medcalfe may have a Copy of the said Petition; and be, and is hereby, required to put in his Answer thereunto, in Writing, on Tuesday the Sixteenth Day of this Instant February, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

L. Grey of Warke versus E. of Rochester.

Upon reading the Answer of the Lord Gray of Warke, put in to the Petition of Laurence Earl of Rochester:

Privilege allowed to Lords or not, when petitioned to be taken away.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That it shall be, and is hereby, referred to the Lords Committees for Privileges, to inspect Precedents relating to Privileges of the Lords, and in what Cases Privilege hath been disallowed to any Lords, or allowed, when petitioned to be taken away: And it is further ORDERED, That the said Committee shall sit To-morrow, at Nine of the Clock in the Forenoon, and report the Precedents to the House.

Hetley versus Hervey.

Upon reading the Petition of Carina Hetley and Elizabeth English, praying some short Day for hearing their Cause depending in this House, to which John Hervey is Defendant:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Saturday the Thirteenth Day of this Instant February, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Wareing versus Plate.

Upon reading the Petition of Richard Wareing; shewing, "That, since the Judgement of this House given in his Cause, the Court of Chancery hath proceeded (as by the Orders to the Petition annexed appears) against him in Behalf of Sir John Plate:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That it is hereby referred to the Lords following, to call the Parties before them, and examine the Proceedings in the Cause in the Court of Chancery, and this House, and to report to the House what they find in this Case; whose Lordships, or any Three of them, are to meet on Thursday next, at Nine of the Clock, in the Forenoon in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please:
