E. of Montagu versus E. of Bath.

Upon Consideration this Day of the Earl of Montagu's Petition:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That his Lordship's Counsel shall be heard, on Friday the Fifteenth Day of this Instant March, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon, to shew whether the Petition of Appeal of the said Earl of Montagu is brought properly before this House; as also Counsel on Behalf of the Earl of Bathe.

Crosfield's Petition.

Upon Consideration of the Petition of Robert Crosfeild, read this Day; the following Orders were made:

Commissioners of Accompts, to transmit Accounts of Sick and Hurt:

"It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Commissioners appointed by a late Act of Parliament, to examine, take, and state, the Public Accompts of the Kingdom, do transmit to this House what lies before them, in relation to the Commissioners for the Sick and Wounded."

Crosfield to bring Witnesses Names to prove Grievances:

"ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Robert Crosfeild do lay before this House, on Monday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon, the Names of such Witnesses (as he knows), to prove each Head of Grievance mentioned in or annexed to his Petition."

Crosfield to be heard:

"ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That on Wednesday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon, this House shall be put into a Committee, to proceed in Examination of the several Matters mentioned in or annexed to the Petition of Robert Crosfeild."

Commissioners of Admiralty, to have a Copy of his Petition;

"ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Commissioners of the Admiralty shall have a Copy of the Petition of Robert Crosfeild, delivered and read this Day."

"ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Commissioners for the Sick and Wounded shall have a Copy of the Petition of Robert Crosfeild, delivered and read this Day; and that they attend this House on Wednesday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon."

and the Commissioners of the Navy Board.

"ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Commissioners of the Navy Board shall have a Copy of the Petition of Robert Crosfeild, read this Day."
