Bp. of London versus Regem, in Error.

Whereas Friday next was ordered, for hearing the Errors argued upon the Writ of Error depending in this House, wherein the Bishop of London and Doctor Birch are Plaintiffs, and Their Majesties Defendants:

It is this Day ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the Errors argued thereupon, on Thursday the Seven and Twentieth Day of this Instant December, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

This Day the Lord Chief Justice of the King's Bench, in the usual Manner, brought in a Writ of Error,

Rex versus Tucker, in Error.

Rex et Regina Quer.

versus

Reginald Tucker Defendant.

Wilful Perjury to make Felony, Bill.

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act making wilful and corrupt Perjury, in certain Cases, to be Felony."

And, after some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.

And the Lord Cornwallis reported, "That the Committee had made some Progress in the Bill; and desire another Day may be appointed, to proceed therein."

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the House shall be put into a Committee again, on Wednesday next, at Eleven of the Clock, to consider further of the said Bill.

Who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act for regulating of Trials, in Cases of High Treason and Misprision of Treason;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.
