Bayly versus Robson.

Whereas Saturday the Sixteenth Instant was appointed for hearing of the Cause wherein Sarah Bayly is Appellant, and Anne Robson and others Respondents:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel on both Sides, at the Bar, on Tuesday the Second Day of January next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Williams versus Reade.

Upon reading the Petition of Walter Williams Esquire; praying a Day may be appointed, for hearing of his Cause depending in this House, to which Richard Reade and others are Respondents:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Wednesday the Third Day of January next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Popham versus Bampfeild:

Upon reading the Petition of Alexander Popham Esquire, Respondent to an Appeal lately depending in this House, in which Warwick Bampfeild was Appellant; shewing, "That, since the Judgement of this House, the First of July One Thousand Six Hundred Eighty-nine, Mr. Bampfeild, the Eighteenth of July last, exhibited a Bill of Review in Chancery, signed by John Hawles and Edward Strode Esquires, to reverse and set aside a Report and Decree of an Equivalent; which will undermine, and draw into Examination in Chancery, the Order of this House:"

Bampfield and his Counsel to attend.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Warwick Bampfeild, John Hawles, and Edward Strode, Esquires, do attend this House To-morrow, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Zouch versus Swinnock.

Whereas Wednesday the Six and Twentieth Instant, was appointed for hearing of the Cause wherein James Zouch is Appellant, and Samuel Swinnock Respondent:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Tuesday the Ninth Day of January next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Finch versus Ditcher.

Whereas Monday the Eighteenth Instant was appointed for hearing of the Cause wherein Nicholas Ditcher and others are Appellants, against John Finch Respondent:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Thursday the Fourth Day of January next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Castell versus Stephens.

Whereas Friday the Two and Twentieth Instant was appointed for hearing of the Cause wherein Richard Castell is Appellant, and Francis Stephens Respondent:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Friday the Fifth Day of January next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Clayton's Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to indemnify the Trustees of James Clayton Esquire, for joining with him in selling Lands for Payment of his Debts."

ORDERED, That the Consideration of the said Bill be committed to the Lords following; (videlicet,)

Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet To-morrow, at Nine of the Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.

Grahme versus Stamper.

Upon reading the Petition of James Grahme, in a Cause adjudged in the Court of Chancery, for Francis Stamper Laceman, against the said Petitioner, on Monday the Eighteenth Day of this Instant December; and praying the Order of Dismission may be reversed, and the Injunction of the Court of Chancery, in the said Petition mentioned, continued:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Francis Stamper may have a Copy of the said Petition; and shall and he is hereby required to put in his Answer thereunto, in Writing, on Monday the Eighth Day of January next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Aaron Smith to produce Papers concerning Wall et al.:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Mr. Aaron Smith do lay before this House, on Tuesday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon, Two Letters from Captain Wall to Mr. Killigrew and Sir Ralph Dalavall, Mr. Prade's Affidavit, Captain Rome's Affidavit, the Admirals Letter to the Earl of Nottingham upon that Subject, and all other Papers that are in his Hands relating to that Affair.

Admirals, and Sir George Rooke, to attend.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Three Admirals who commanded the Fleet the last Summer, and Sir George Rooke, do attend this House To-morrow, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Intimation, that the House expects the King's Answer to an Address.

ORDERED, That it be intimated to the Lord Steward, "That this House expects His Majesty's Answer to their Address of the Eleventh Instant, To-morrow, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon."

Business to be proceeded on at the Hour the House adjourns to.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That, during the Session of Parliament, the House shall proceed upon Business every Day, at the Hour the House shall be adjourned to.

Italian Thrown Silks, for Importation of, Bill.

English versus Zouch et al.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of Dorothy English Widow, from a Decree made in the High Court of Chancery, the Sixteenth Day of April, in the Fourth Year of the Reign of Their present Majesties King William and Queen Mary, by the Right Honourable the late Lords Commissioners of the Great Seal, in a Cause there then depending, between Thomas English and the Petitioner Dorothy his Wife Complainants, and James Zouch Esquire, (the Petitioner's Brother) Defendant, et è contra; and praying the Reversal of the said Decree; and that Samuel Swinnock and James Zouch may answer thereunto, and all Proceedings in the Court of Chancery may be stayed:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said James Zouch and Samuel Swinnock may have a Copy of the said Appeal; and do put in their Answer thereunto, in Writing, on Thursday the Fourth Day of January next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Braughton versus Micklewright.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of Sir Bryan Braughton Knight and Baronet, and Peter Braughton Esquire, against a Decree made in the High Court of Chancery, the Two and Twentieth Day of February, in the Fourth Year of the Reign of Their present Majesties King William and Queen Mary, in a Cause wherein William Micklewright, Executor to William Micklewright his Father, deceased, was Plaintiff, against the Petitioners Defendants; and also another Order or Decree pronounced afterwards in the said Cause, the Three and Twentieth Day of May last; and praying the Reversal of the said Decree and Order:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said William Micklewright may have a Copy of the said Appeal; and he is hereby required to put in his Answer thereunto, in Writing, on Friday the Nineteenth Day of January next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.
