PRAYERS.

Dut. Grafton versus Judges of King's Bench.

The Counsel for the Dutchess of Grafton and William Bridgeman Esquire, as also for the Judges of Their Majesties Court of King's Bench, were called in.

And the Lord Keeper, by Directions of the House, told the Counsel for the Judges, "That they must acquaint the Lords with the whole Proceedings which may be upon the Writ out of Chancery de ponendo Sigillum, and what will be the Issue of that Writ."

The Counsel for the Judges being heard thereupon, and several other Questions asked by particular Lords; as also the Dutchess's Counsel heard to reply; and being withdrawn;

Mr. Attorney General and the Judges were heard, to the several Questions asked the Counsel.

And, after Debate thereupon, the following Orders were made:

Dehate adjourned;

"It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the present Debate upon the Dutchess of Grafton's Petition, and the Judges of Their Majesties Court of King's Bench Answer thereunto, shall be adjourned until To-morrow, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon."

Ld. Chief Baron to attend;

"It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lord Chief Baron of Their Majesties Court of Exchequer do attend this House To-morrow, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon, to give such further Assistance as he can, in the Matter depending in this House, between the Dutchess of Grafton and the Judges of the King's Bench."

Petyt to attend:

"It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That William Petyt Esquire do attend this House To-morrow, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon."

Lords to be summoned.

"ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That all the Lords who were present in this House the Fifteenth Instant be summoned to attend this House To-morrow, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon; and that the House expects a just Excuse if they do not; and that the Messengers who summon them give the House an Account thereof To-morrow."

Adjourn.
