Simmons versus Grant et Ux.
Whereas this Day was appointed for hearing of the Cause wherein Elizabeth Simmons is Appellant, and Thomas Grant and Bridget his Wife Respondents:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, To-morrow, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.
Free Proceedings in Parliament, Bill for.
Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act touching free and impartial Proceedings in Parliament."
ORDERED, That the said Bill shall be committed to a Committee of the whole House, presently.
Then the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee, upon the said Bill.
And, after some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.
And the Earl of Bridgewater reported, "That the Committee had passed the said Bill, with some Amendments."
Which were read Twice, and agreed to; and ordered to be read the Third Time To-morrow, after Twelve of the Clock.
Captains Cox and Fox to attend.
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Captain John Cox and Captain Fox do attend this House on Thursday, the One and Twentieth Day of this Instant December, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.
