PRAYERS.

Small Tithes, for more easy Recovery of, Bill.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the more easy Recovery of Small Tithes."

ORDERED, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House, on Saturday next.

State of the Public Accompts to be sent in.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Commissioners appointed by a late Act of Parliament to examine, take, and state, the Public Accompts of the Kingdom, do send to this House, with all convenient Speed, in Writing, a State of the said Public Accompts.

Address for E. I. Comp. Pet. to Lords Justices, and other Papers concerning their expected Ships.

The Lord Ferrers reported from the Lords Committees appointed to consider of Papers delivered from the Commissioners of the Admiralty, "That Application be made to His Majesty, that the Petition of the East India Company of the Twelfth of September last to the Lords Justices, and the other Papers given by them at any Time to the said Lords Justices, in relation to their expected Ships, may be laid before this House."

To which the House agreed; and ordered as follows; (videlicet,)

"It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lords with White Staves do attend His Majesty, humbly to desire His Majesty, from this House, that the Petition of the East India Company, the Twelfth of September last, to the Lords Justices, and the other Papers given by them at any Time to the said Lords Justices, in relation to their expected Ships, may be laid before this House."

Double Returns, &c. to prevent, Bill.

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act to prevent false and double Returns of Members to serve in Parliament."

After some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Bridgewater reported, "That the Committee had made some Progress in the Bill; and desire another Time may be appointed, for them to proceed."

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the House shall be put into a Committee, to proceed on the abovesaid Bill, precisely, To-morrow, at Eleven of the Clock, the First Business.

Adjourn.
