PRAYERS.

Counterfeiting and clipping the Coin, to prevent, Bill.

The Earl of Bridgewater reported from the Committee, the Bill, intituled, "An Act to prevent counterfeiting and clipping the Coin of this Kingdom," as fit to pass, with some Amendments.

Which were read Twice, and Agreed to; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the said Amendments.

Fotherley versus Wankford.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of John Fotherley Esquire, from a Decree made in the Court of Chancery, on the Behalf of Robert Wankford, the Seventh Day of November last, whereby the Appellant is decreed to pay the Respondent Three Thousand Pounds, as a Portion in Marriage with his Daughter; and praying the Reversal of the said Decree:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Robert Wankford may have a Copy of the said Petition and Appeal; and shall and he is hereby required to put in his Answer thereunto, in Writing, on Monday the Five and Twentieth Day of this Instant March, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

E. Montagu versus E. Bath:

The Lord Keeper having reported this Day what was offered by Counsel the Fifteenth Instant, in relation to the Petition of Appeal of Ralph Earl of Montagu, upon this Point, "Whether the said Petition is brought properly before this House?"

And Debate thereupon;

This Question was put, "Whether the said Petition of Appeal of Ralph Earl of Montagu is brought properly before this House?"

It was Resolved in the Negative.

E. Montagu's Petition dismissed.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petition of Appeal of Ralph Earl of Montagu, brought into this House the Seventh Instant, shall be, and is hereby, dismissed this House.

Creditors, for Relief of, Bill.

Whereas this Day was appointed for the House to be put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for Relief of Creditors:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House shall be put into a Committee, to proceed thereupon, on Thursday the One and Twentieth Day of this Instant March, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Precedency of Peers who sit in their Fathers Barony, and their Descendants.

Whereas this Day was appointed to consider of the Precedence of such Peers as shall be summoned to this House by Writ, into their Fathers Baronies, and of the Descendants of such Peers:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House shall consider thereof on Wednesday next, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon.
