PRAYERS.

The Lord Keeper acquainted the House, "That Her Majesty had sent a Commission for the further proroguing of this Parliament."

Then the Lords Commissioners, in their Robes, being seated on a Form placed between the Throne and the Woolsack; the Lord Keeper in the Middle; and the Earl of Oxford on his Right Hand, and the Earl of Stamford on his Left Hand; commanded the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod to go to the House of Commons; and let them know, "That the Commissioners desire they would be present, to hear the said Commission read."

Who being come, with their Speaker; the Commission was read, as followeth; (videlicet,)

Commission for proroguing the Parliament.

Damus autem universis & singulis Archiepiscopis, Ducibus, Marchionibus, Comitibus, Vicecomitibus, Episcopis, Baronibus, Militibus, Civibus, & Burgensibus, ac omnibus aliis quorum interest ad Parliamentum Nostrum prædictum conventuris, Tenore Præsentium, sirmiter in Mandatis, quod vobis in Præmissis faciendis, agendis, & exequendis, pareant, obediant, & intendant, prout decet.
