PRAYERS.

Johnson to be attached, for arresting Carroll, L. Lucas's Servant.

Upon Oath made, at the Bar, "That Marmaduke Johnson Bailiff did arrest Maurice Carroll, Servant to the Right Honourable the Lord Lucas, a Peer of this Realm, within the Time of Privilege of Parliament, contrary to the Privilege of Parliament:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod attending this House do forthwith attach the Body of the said Marmaduke Johnson, and bring him in safe Custody to the Bar of this House, to answer for his Contempt; and this shall be a sufficient Warrant on that Behalf.

To Sir Thomas Duppa, Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod attending this House, his Deputy and Deputies, and every of them, and to all Mayors, Sheriffs, Bailiffs, Constables, and other Officers, to be aiding and assisting in the Execution hereof.

Hale versus Dashwood.

Upon hearing Counsel this Day, at the Bar, upon the Petition and Appeal of Thomas Hale Gentleman, against a Decree and an Order made in the Court of Chancery, the Twelfth Day of July, One Thousand Six Hundred Eighty-eight, in a Cause wherein the said Thomas Hale was Complainant, against Sir Samuel Dashwood Knight, and Francis Dashwood Gentleman, Respondents; as also upon the Answer of the said Sir Sam'll Dashwood and Francis Dashwood put in thereunto:

After due Consideration had of what was offered by Counsel on either Side, upon the said Petition and Answer, it is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal of Thomas Hale shall be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the Decree and Order from which he appealed shall be, and is hereby, affirmed.

Upon receiving this Day, pursuant to the Orders on Tuesday last, several Papers from the Officers of the Ordnance, and also from Mr. Blathwaite Secretary of War:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Papers shall be referred to the Committee of the whole House, appointed to consider of Heads for Advice to be given to His Majesty.

Advice to His Majesty.

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee, upon Advice to His Majesty.

And, after some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Bridgewater reported the Draught of an Order to be sent to the Officers of the Ordnance; and desired another Day may be appointed, for them to be put into a Committee again.

To which the House agreed; and ordered as followeth:

Account of Ordnance Stores expended within these Two Years, and List of Foreigners employed in that Service, to be sent in.

"It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Officers of the Ordnance do send to this House, on or before Wednesday the Seventh of this Instant December, an Abstract of the Stores Two Years ago, and what hath been delivered since; and to put under the Names of every Specie the Sum Total, as well of the Issues as of what now remains; and to send a List of all Foreigners on their Establishment, or employed by them, and in what Places they are employed."

Advice to His Majesty.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the House shall be put into a Committee, on Saturday next, at Twelve of the Clock, to proceed upon Advice to be given to His Majesty.

Adjourn.
